Just off the Royal Mile, behind St Giles Cathedral on Parliament Square, you will find John's Coffee House & Tavern (part of CoDE Hostels) just past the statue of James Braidwood the fireman. The meeting point is inside, we'll head underground from there.

- If you enjoy whisky, or even want to know more about it and it's history in Scotland, then this is the event for you! Our tasting expert, Mark, was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about whisky and it's history here and we had an amazing experience. We got to try some genuinely magnificent whiskies and we wouldn't have otherwise been fortunate enough to taste and it broadened our knowledge and perspectives of scotch whisky. Overall a wonderful experience, and the atmosphere is also amazing, so I would highly recommend to just about anyone!

From a non-whisky drinker - As a non-whisky drinker, I had some hesitations about this experience but it was absolutely fantastic! Marc was incredibly knowledgeable about the whisky and I learned a lot. I also really enjoyed the whisky! I would 100% recommend this experience for all levels of whisky drinkers!

Great for a whiskey lover - Great Scotch whiskey tasting down in an underground close. Sarah was our guide, American, and very knowledgeable about whiskey. The tastings were plentiful and a good mix of whiskeys fro all over Scotland.

Wonderful Whiskey Tasting event - Marc was a pleasure to learn from about the history of whiskey in Edinburgh. He incorporated the history with each whiskey and region where made. He was sincerely patient when we started a little later because my son lost his phone.
It was pleasant and educational not to mention delicious whiskey tasting experience in the underground vaults.
If you're coming to edinburg, make sure you booked this tour, you will not be disappointed.

Personalized whisky tasting - We had a really fun evening with fine whiskeys and great storytelling by James.
Great fun for beginners as well as experienced whiskey drinkers.
The whiskey choices suited one’s personal taste. Nice selection of diverse distilleries. A must-do when in Edinburgh!
