Great experience to obtain background - Shanna our guide was very informative and just a pleasure to be around. I would recommend taking this tour if you want some background on "Old Town". We went on a weekday and it was not as crowded.

Get the Lay of the Land - Fortunately we booked this tour for our first full day in Edinburgh. Kieran was a terrific guide, encyclopedic in his knowledge and entertaining in his delivery. Moving through different parts of the city really helped orient us for the rest of our stay and reinforced what a walkable, accessible town Edinburgh is. Great small tour!

A great way to learn about the city - past and present - David W. was, in a word, terrific! An engaging storyteller with an unparalleled knowledge of his subject(s), he kept our group enthralled throughout. He fielded every question we threw at him - and there were many - without batting an eye, shifting seamlessly to address the query while not letting the topic he'd been on before go unfinished. We learned a lot. Highly recommend. 10/10, no notes.

This was great. David was the best. 10/10 would recommend. - I highly recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your stay (or really any time. It was great) .We did this on the first day of our stay in Edinburgh and our whole family loved it and learned a lot from our knowledgeable guide named David. He only does tours on Fridays and Sundays. If he offered tours during the week we would have booked a tour with him every day of our trip! This tour really set the mood for the rest of trip and taught us about the history of this beautiful city.

Historical Walking Tour Experience - Our tour group only had the two of us and one other person so the guide was able to customize on the fly to what our interests were. We learned some Harry Potter/JK Rowling history and lots about past to recent Edinburgh. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about what he was explaining. It made the time fly!
