Great Tour - Alister is a great tour guide. Enthusiastic and knowledgable. We were able to see and learn about the castle in this guided 90 min tour. He welcomes questions and has sense of humor. Made it an enjoyable visit. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended tour - It could best be described as a small group size tour allowing Alistair to engage with all members and providing a better experience for everyone. Not only do you get the facts about the castle but he really brings it alive with a story telling style. He blends the history of the castle with modern day Scotland in a very skilful way. The tour was well paced so you got to cover a lot of ground but never felt you were being rushed. It was money well spent and we had a fun tour.

Highly recommend - We booked Alasdair through the Sheraton Hotel. He came highly recommended. He was very informative and such a kind patient man. Well worth the money we spent. I highly recommend if you are looking for a fun informative tour of the castle.

Had the best tour ever of... - Had the best tour ever of Edinburgh castle with Alasdair!! His knowledge was amazing!! It was great having a real Scotsman in a kilt as a tour guide!! Everyone on the tour with us loved it. Would highly recommend this experience with Alasdair. The best in Edinburgh!!
