- Edinburgh Castle - You will be guided through the grounds of Edinburgh Castle. It is worth to note that we can not take you inside any of the Caste Buildings (no tour operator can) but we will give you the rich history of the Castle, it’s place in Scottish history and many of it’s more unusual tales so that after the tour you will be able to explore the Castle with a much deeper understanding than a casual visitor.

- Edinburgh Castle is built on top of the core of an old volcano, the ground is often uneven and at times steep. Be prepared to be on your feet for the full duration of the tour. People with mobility issues may not get the most from this tour.

Loaded with great information! - Jule was an excellent tour guide! She had a large group and was very patient and pleasant during the entire tour. She was very knowledgeable about all things involving the Edinburgh Castle. Take the this tour! You won’t be disappointed.

Touring the Edinburgh Castle - Our guide Coffe was excellent. The tour was great. He gave us quite a bit of info and then left us in the castle to explore the interiors. Be prepared for plenty of steps but none of them unmanageable.

Tour was well paced and... - Tour was well paced and offered insights that you won’t get from just your own experience. Eleanor made things interesting, kept things light with a bit of humor. Certainly a highlight to see the Edinburgh castle. Would highlight recommend.

Plan more time to colored museums in castle grounds after your tour - Our guide Ben was excellent. We did not realize there were multiple museums within the castle grounds for us to explore on our own after the tour and thus did not allow any time after the tour to do so.

Fascinating, hilarious and gruesome - a perfect tour! - One of the highlights of a recent holiday in Edinburgh was a Castle tour given by Max. He was amazing! He told such interesting and unusual historical anecdotes that I didn't want the tour to end, I was hanging on every word. As well as very knowledgeable, Max was also highly amusing and charming, and he certainly knows how to tell a tale. Absolutely brilliant!

Cancelled - We were unable to take this tour due to the fact that high winds and waves prevented our cruise ship from using its tender boats to get into port. I contacted the tour operator who kindly offered to refund our money. That person said I had to through Viator to request the refund, but as of now, I have not found a way to send a message to Viator.
