Great hike 22/02/25 - David was a great guide, I'm not at my fittest but he was patient and helpful without holding the rest of the group up, and really interesting information. Lovely atmosphere with our group, great to make it to the very top and enjoy the views ☺️

Amazing hike, amazing tour guide - Great Experience with David at Arthur’s Seat David was an excellent tour guide for our hike up Arthur’s Seat. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience both informative and enjoyable. He shared interesting facts about the area, kept a good pace for the group, and pointed out great photo spots along the way. His enthusiasm for the landscape made the hike even more memorable. Highly recommend him for anyone visiting Edinburgh!

Well worth doing - I was a bit worried about whether I could do it as I'm not the fittest person, but it was fine. The only challenge was that it was a bit icy. But the view at the top was stunning. So glad we did it. Our guide was wonderful, ensuring that the pace worked for everyone.

Stunning views, easy 2h adventure - We were really, really lucky with the weather. The ground was a wee bit frozen, but David led us through an easier and less busy trail. For some people, it will be an easy hike, for others a medium-level hillwalking. It gets windy & chilly at the top. I think we all enjoyed the stories and the anecdotes. Leaving with more knowledge about the Park and the Hills, and a plan of what to explore next time. The views were stunning!

A Must for a Trip to Edinburgh - As a solo traveler, if I hadn’t booked this guided tour of Arthur’s Seat, I honestly may have turned back when I saw how steep some parts of the hike were. But with our guide David leading the way, I kept going and was rewarded with beautiful views. I also learned some history along the way! Make sure you wear good sneakers and dress for the weather. It was late October so I wore leggings and several layers of athletic tops/jacket with fingerless gloves and a knit cap. It’s very windy at the top so take that into consideration (no ball caps, for example). The round trip took us just under 2 hours. There is a cafe at Holyrood Palace with a restroom, and I would not recommend having a full English breakfast before. This is a must do for any trip to Edinburgh!

Great to go with a guide… - Great to complete the walk with a local guide who gave us info on the wildlife, geology, history and lots of further recommendations for visiting this part of Scotland. David took us off the main trails so we got a much quieter and more relaxing walk (despite the August festival crowds). A great bit of respite from the city with brilliant views and bracing fresh air. Would highly recommend, especially for solo travellers who feel more comfortable on a guided walk.

Great views and excellent tour guide - Marcus was great, he shared the right amount of information but was happy to answer questions and seemed pretty knowledgable about the area in general. The views were amazing and I’m glad we had a guide as it was first time we’d done that walk so was probably safer to have someone experienced leading us. Marcus was also well prepared with walking sticks, water etc should anyone need it. He also was also sensitive to the varied levels of fitness within the group and checked in regularly to ensure everyone was ok. Overall we loved it. Definitely recommend it.

Arthur's Seat - A hike through nature and earth history with a view - In a small group of 6 participants David led us as graciously as expertly on Arthur's Seat. Talks about nature and geology came naturally. The trail is also good for inexperienced hikers, albeit with breathers. The view over the city and countryside is wonderful. A rewarding tour with a particularly friendly guide.
