We shall head through the beautiful Craigmillar Park, home of Craigmillar Castle, before heading through the 19th Century Victorian Railway tunnel taking us into Holyrood Park and riding past our extinct volcano, Arthur’s Seat. We then head onto cycle paths all the way to the coast for coffee or Ice cream! This is perfect for families or those who want a gentle ride to the beach. We shall stop at historic sights and learn a little history about this ancient city. Weather in Scotland is changeable and we ride in the rain as this does not affect the tour. Please bring a waterproof jacket.

There’s no need for vehicles as we begin right on the bike trail and we’re a proudly certified zero-carbon business. For optimal enjoyment and safety, we maintain small group sizes and enrich your understanding of our historical city with our certified, knowledgeable guides. This is an entertaining excursion with a complimentary ice cream (or coffee!) waiting for you either beachside or indoors for those chillier months, during a 12-mile round trip. Your journey sets off within the scenic Craigmillar Castle grounds, near the city center and conveniently accessible on foot, by bus, taxi, or car (complimentary on-site parking included). The option to upgrade to an e-bike is available at an additional fee of £20pp, payable on the day. Please notify me should you desire this upgrade.
