Tour in Quilotoa - Tour that is very worth making. The visit to Lagoa do Quilotoa is a very cool experience, unique experience. The access trail is well marked and you can do it yourself. The return (a rise) challenges our physical conditioning a bit, but doing it calmly can end the ride successfully. I hired this tour with the company Quito Tour Bus and was very well served by the guide Daniela and the driver Ivan! Both were extremely attentive throughout the trip. I especially highlight all the tips Daniela gave us for other activities in Quito and also in Galápagos! Thank you to vcs for the experience I had.

A Fantastic day tour to Quilotoa! Loved it - This was a great day tour to the Quilotoa water-filled crater lake, or lagoon, in Ecuador from Quito. The tour started for me in the morning when I met the tour bus at the pickup point at 7:30 am in Quito. We made several stops on this 3 hour journey to Quilotoa including a stop at a local restaurant for breakfast, another stop to interact with some local people living in the mountains, at a local market for some shopping, and then finally at the Quilotoa lagoon and the town nearby. I overall had a fantastic time on this tour and a big thank you to our guides Fernando, Andrea, Jorge, and our driver Jimmy for the excellent job they did leading us on this day tour. Make sure you bring cash and coins for shopping at these local outlets and all weather clothes for this tour. The weather can be all over the place on this tour so definitely bring a hat, a jacket, some rain proof hiking boots, an umbrella, and sunscreen too. Once you’re at the Quilotoa lagoon you’ll be given the choice to either go down towards the water and then hike back up or hike around the top of the crater for some stunning views. The hike down to the water and then back up is the most challenging option of the two so be aware of that, I chose the hike around the top of the crater since I wanted the best views. After we left the Quilotoa lagoon we headed back to Quito and got around to town around 6:30 pm. All in all, I had a fantastic time on this tour as I mentioned and I highly recommend you book this while you’re in Quito! I think you’ll love it - Nolan

Excellent experience with Carlos and Irene in Quilotoa - I did the tour to Quilotoa on my own with Irene as a guide and Carlos as a driver and had a great time. Both managed to create a very friendly atmosphere with the group and we enjoyed it a lot, the way to wing lagoon and local lunch:)

Excellent tour - Irene is a super guide we don't have a super fun time she is watching everyone and and clearly explains everything she is telling us throughout the tour definitely if god allows me to return again we will request your help and the driver very responsible to drive we were very calm by his correct way of handling

Quilotoa tour - It is a super recommended tour! Quilotoa is an amazing place, essential, and the tour there was very enjoyable and interesting. The stop to get to know the indigenous community is very interesting and Irene, our guide made everything easier, interesting, entertaining and fun! She lives her work and it struck me how much knowledge she has about the history of the country, thank you!

Funny experience in the lagoon!! - Thank you Quito tour bus for such a nice experience. The day of walking was entertaining and our guide Irene, always attentive and very cordial with all the information and directions so that everything went very well. Just recommend that the chicken soup meat served at lunch be a little softer, is that I really couldn't eat it!!! Everything else, very happy and grateful for the attentions!!!
