Amazing views and great information! - Our trip to Cotopaxi and Lake Quilotoa was amazing! Our driver and guide, Pedro, arrived right on time at out hotel and it ended up being a private tour with just my wife and I! Pedro was very knowledgable and filled us in on a lot of information about Ecuador and Quito specifically and of course info about Cotopaxi and Lake Quilotoa. He drove us higher up in Cotopaxi National Park (up to the 15,000 ft mark!) to try to get a better view of the volcano and gave us plenty of time there. Beautiful views all over in the park and on the drive there as well. Next, we drove a couple hours to Lake Quilotao. Again, beautiful views of the Andes throughout the ride! We had a delicious lunch at a cute restaurant at the top of the lake. Then we hiked down to the surface of the lake. The views of the lake, which is inside a volcanic crater, are AMAZING! So pretty! The hike down and back up is about a mile each way. Let me warn you that the hike back up is TOUGH! Pedro warned us of this and gave us the option of doing it or not. We love to hike, so we did it and are very glad we did. It was very worth it! If you are not in great shape, you can take a donkey back up the trail for $10. Lastly, we drove back to Quito (about a 2.5 hour drive) and again saw great scenery on the way back. Pedro's driving from spot to spot was very smooth, professional and informative. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

If you like nature....... MUST-HAVE AND WONDERFUL. - The visit is spectacular, we had many expectations with this tour, and they have been covered in scraps, the Cotopaxi, amazing with its corresponding fauna and birds, we could enjoy all of it a little. Special mention for Riqui, we are happy with his service, attentive, friendly, professional, a guide jewel, and the lagoon of Quilotoa, stratospheric, immense, wonderful amazing. Total 10 for the tour and for Riqui.

Gorgeous views and great guide! - What a great day! We were nervous that, being the rainy season, we wouldn’t be able to see much of Cotopaxi, but the clouds parted just as we arrived! What a gorgeous sight, and a nice walk around the lagoon. Then we had a nice drive to Quilotoa, which might be the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. Pedro was a wonderful guide, so knowledgeable about the plant and animal life and answered our many questions about Quito and Ecuador. He made pit stops when we needed, took lots of pictures for us, and gave us plenty of time to explore so we didn’t feel rushed. 10/10 recommend!

My experience on the Cotopaxi Quilotoa tour - The experience was great; Pedro, our guide, was very interesting and answered all our questions. Although the weather wasn't perfect, we were able to see Mount Cotopaxi and the impressive Quilotoa Lagoon (beautiful for its color).

Highly recommended tour! - My guide Pedro was very knowledgeable and the tour so interesting. We even got to see rare Ecuadorean condors as they circled Cotopaxi volcano - its summit covered in a glacier. We visited the nearby lagoon and he pointed out many birds and flowers of interest. The magnificent Quilatoa was a highlight! A magical day!

Best guide to see Quito! - Diego is an awesome guide. He showed us so much of Quito in the 10 hours we spent with him. He was knowledgeable, patient, and his English was perfect. He seemed to know where to go to have the best views and the best weather. We could not have had a better guide to see the beauty of Quito.
