• Cotopaxi National Park - In the early morning, the journey begins south of the city along the Avenue of Volcanoes. This route is named for the opportunity to see hills and volcanoes like Pasochoa, El Corazon, and the Ilinizas, weather permitting, until reaching Cotopaxi National Park. At the park, visitors will explore the Interpretation Center, where a guide will provide insights and answer questions about the world’s highest active volcano. After learning about Cotopaxi’s history and fascinating facts, the tour continues to Laguna de Limpiopungo for an engaging hike to observe birds and plants adapted to the cold climate.
