• Zhinvali Water Reservoir - The driver will greet guests in the morning at their hotel or selected pick-up location, and they will set off from Tbilisi towards the magnificent Great Caucasus Mountains. After about 90 minutes, they will reach Jinvali Dam, a remarkable man-made reservoir on the Aragvi River. This spot is perfect for taking stunning landscape photos, offering breathtaking views of the dam, turquoise waters, and the surrounding mountains.
• Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - The next destination, just 15 minutes away, is Ananuri Castle, one of Georgia’s most renowned sites. It is a 16th-century fortress featuring two churches and a citadel where the dukes of Aragvi resided. The complex also includes a 14th-century watchtower, older than the main fortress, which was used to spot approaching enemies.

The fortress is located on the shores of the Jinvali Reservoir, known for its vibrant turquoise water, and is surrounded by the Caucasus Mountains, making it a very scenic place to explore.

• Gudauri Viewpoint - The following stop is the Friendship Monument, also referred to as the Russian-Georgian Friendship Monument, situated at an altitude of approximately 2,300 meters near the Jvari Pass. Positioned on a cliff about 600 meters above the Demon Valley, it provides breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

The monument is an impressive semicircular structure made of concrete and stone, featuring a colorful mosaic on its inner wall. The mosaic illustrates the friendship between Russia and Georgia, including images of Soviet soldiers, Yuri Gagarin, Georgian and Soviet symbols, as well as depictions of nature and industry. Constructed in a distinctive Soviet-era style, it is a unique and photogenic landmark in the region.

• Stepantsminda - The final stop is Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), located near Georgia’s northern border. The town’s main attraction is Kazbegi Peak, also known as Mkinvartsveri, which has long captivated mountain enthusiasts. From its summit at 5,054 meters, the panoramic views are truly unforgettable.

In Kazbegi, visitors will explore the 14th-century Gergeti Trinity Church, situated at the base of Kazbegi Glacier. Its secluded location atop a steep mountain, surrounded by the vast Caucasus landscape, has made it one of Georgia’s most iconic landmarks and a symbol of the country’s rich heritage.

Note ‼️ From November to May, an off-road vehicle may be necessary for the trip to Gergeti. An additional fee of $25 per car is optional and payable in cash on site. The price is per car, not per person.

If guests choose not to visit the church, they can explore Kazbegi on foot, take photos, and then the group will return to Tbilisi.
