Very professional tour operator - Highly recommended!! - We had a truly spectacular time on our 9 days tour over the Pamir. The booking process was incredibly efficient and clear. We got detailed information on what is included and what isn’t. Our driver NURBEK picked us up in Dushanbe and treated us with the most incredible hospitality that you can imagine. We realized on the way when we met other tour groups that he went over and beyond to offer us an outstanding service. He was prepared with table and chairs for lunch breaks, hot water for tea, wonderful watermelons,…. He suggested us the best places to stay, was very patient with us stopping for fotos. I can’t imagine a better and smoother driver on these difficult roads with a comfortable Land Cruiser in best condition. We would have loved being able to communicate a bit more with him to learn about people and their life’s out here. But basic English for the essentials is perfecty fine! Pamir Highway Road-trip - Our trip from Dushanbe to Osh on the Pamir Highway with VisitAlay was fantastic. Sali, our guide, is a very skilled 4x4 driver. He organised lovely home-stays, delicious lunches and beautiful stops. It was a special trip with lovely people.

Fantastic 9 days. - We had a fantastic time on this 9’day trip and just finished today! The scenery is spectacular and on top of that we had the best driver/guide in Tajikistan! Kanybek was fantastic. His English is excellent, he’s very knowledgeable of the sites and he’s an excellent driver too! We would highly recommend the tour AND Kanybek!

The Pamirs offer breathtaking beauty alongside rugged challenges. We navigated gravel roads, muddy paths, and winding mountain trails—every kind of tough terrain you could think of. Thanks to our guide’s fearless yet careful driving, we felt completely safe and secure throughout.
His expertise was truly impressive. At every village and rest stop along the way, he shared rich insights into the local culture and customs. The warm greetings he received from friends along the route spoke volumes about his genuine kindness—a quality that also brought us real practical benefits.
Beyond expertly planning each day’s route, handling our luggage with care, and driving with skill and confidence, what touched us most was his thoughtful attention to detail. When I suffered from altitude sickness, he immediately found medicine, checked on me regularly, and thoughtfully adjusted our pace.

Pamir - our driver, sali, ensured that our journey is smooth including all the permit checkpoints and the border crossing. his cars are in great conditions and the windows are not tinted so we had superb views throughout. the guesthouse and homestay are better and more comfortable than envisioned.

Amazing experience! - This tour of the Pamir highway was brilliant! Our driver Kairat was a good driver and great company. The scenery on this trip was amazing, definitely recommend this trip with visitalay.

Excellent trip! - We had an amazing trip! Our driver, Kokon, was a great driver, was very knowledgeable, spoke good English and went out of his way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. He even prepared tea, coffee and snacks after hot springs and on our hike! Kokon also went out of his way to make sure we saw the wildlife! He got us very close to a large herd of Ibex and got us as close as he could many times to Marco Polo sheep. Kokon was also very patient stopping as often as we wanted for photos and took photos of us for us! Kokon is from Pamir and knows everything about the area and everyone!

Do the pamir highway! - You drive through amazing landscapes and stay in lovely home stays with friendly local families. Kairat was a fun driver to have. I recommend this company. Thanks!
