Surfing was the best - Jake is the best !!! Thanks so much for being patient with my little girl . She enjoyed surfing so much and even managed to ride some waves . Both of us were delighted . Easy contact work Iona and payment was also easy . No problems just brilliant !

Gnarly fun with awesome dudes. A fantastic experience with experienced, super friendly people. - Whilst exploring the North coast of Scotland we decided that surfing had to be part of the trip. We had an absolute blast! Dunnet Bay is beautiful and ideal for surf lessons. Parking was easy and communications were fantastic! Finn met us and was the most friendly, informative, fun instructor we could have dreamt of! Within a very short time (with Finn's assistance) we were up on our feet and actually surfing. 20/10 experience!!! - A truly fabulous experience! Iona was so helpful in coordinating our adventures. We did a private surf lesson with Finn and and RIB trip. Both were fantastic! The surf lesson was a huge standout for us; we never thought we’d actually get up on the boards as first time surfers! Finn was so encouraging and helpful and had fantastic vibes. We will never forget it- a true highlight of our trip. Highly recommend: if you’re nervous about it, just try! You’re in great hands!!

Fantastic introduction to surfing - Iona gave us a truly wonderful two hours introduction to surfing. My wife was pretty much dreading it but absolutely loved it and put that all down to the friendly and supportive guidance from Iona. Being in a private lesson made it really personal. I just about managed to stand on the board by the end, far exceeding my expectations. The kit was all supplied and in good condition. We had fab weather and surf conditions which made the experience all the more pleasurable. Thanks so much. If we ever get this far north again we will definitely be back for more!

September waves - Iona was very helpful when arranging a lesson and equipment hire and Finn provided tuition, which was clear and concise. He was also friendly, encouraging and enthusiastic. The waves were also great on both Dunnet beach and Strathy beach.

Surf lesson, Dunnet beach. - Iona was great, talked us through the basics. Then into the water, managed to go from kneeling to standing in one lesson....for 2/3 of our group! Plus the beach is just amazing!

Absolutely amazing experience!!! - What a great experience!!! One of the best on our tour. Fin briefly showed and explained the most important and then we went straight into the water. Huge fun 😊! Amazing experience on a beautiful beach - Me and my friend did the NC500 and booked a private surf lesson with Ioana and we had an amazing time! The waves weren’t very high but ioana taught us all about the waves and what to look out for, and even managed to get me standing on the board (I’ve never managed this before!!) a great experience and definitely recommend.

Waves whoops and wonderment - This was one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland this year! Iona is patient, engaging, knowledgeable and really passionate about the sea, the coast and the sport of surfing and this shows in the way she delivers her sessions. She is also local and her love of this part of the coast is truly evident. We were met promptly at the meeting point, provided with all the equipment we would need and then carried the boards to the beach. We had a safety briefing with her and, considering we were both novice surfers, important ‘do’s and dont’s’ to make sure we didn’t hurt ourselves. With that, we were off into the sea (which was not as cold as we thought it would be, even in wet suits!) and the surfing began! Amazingly, we both managed to stand up several times and make it to shore and this was definitely testament to Iona’s knowledge of reading the waves, coaching us on when to paddle, how and when to stand and what to do when things didn’t go to plan! Nearly 2 hours flew by and I really didn’t want it to end. Once out and dried off, we reflected on what an amazing experience it had been. I can’t wait to do it again and if you are wondering whether this is for you and have never tried it before, 100% go for it! We are no spring chickens but thoroughly enjoyed it! We can’t thank Iona enough and wish her all the very best for the future, as well as hoping we can join her again in the future.

Amazing Private Lesson, so much fun! - Myself and my partner had a private surfing lesson with Finn and it was just the best! Finn brought so much fun to our time, very patient and such a laugh. He made sure we were safe and always happy to give pointers/tips and often a helping hand to catch a good wave. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to get better at surfing or just to have a really awesome experience! Murray + Dawn
