Great experience! - First time we were doing surfing and Finn was really patient and clear. We managed to stand on the board and fell the waves 🤙🏻 No need to worry about temperature or level. Just go!

On the crest of a wave - just-about - Initially a group booking but turned out to be a 1:1 as others had cancelled. Skateboarded but never surfed befo. Iona was brillant. After initial basics she soon had me riding in on waves. Lying down initially then up on knees then finally got a foot up, nit quite the full stance, but good enough. 2 hours flew by. Would highly recommend Noth Coast Watersports

Fantastic experience - Fantastic experience, first time surfing for me and trying to stand up. Finn made the whole lesson fun and was a great teacher. Not too much time talking on the beach we were in the sea within 10 minutes. Gave me great pointers throughout the lesson and I even managed to get up on my feet. Also purchased a few items of clothing from them which area great value. Would 100% recommend North Coast Watersports for a lesson. Thank you for a great morning in the water.

Our Best Scottish Experience Yet ! - This was a really great experience, we are 56 and 58 years of age and both had a great time ! We were a bit concerned about the cold, but the kit provided is excellent. The wetsuits, gloves and boots kept away the cold completely and our 2 hours flew by. Iona was brilliant and spent time with each of us and I was standing up, surfing by the end. I would advise anyone to have a go, it's a fantastic opportunity to have a great time in the sea with friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging instructors. I cannot rate this highly enough, thank you so much. And if you are thinking about trying this, just do it, you will not regret it !

We had the absolute pleasure of learning with Iona, who was not only incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, but made the entire experience so much fun from start to finish. Whether you’re a total beginner with no surfing or swimming experience (I actually have water anxiety) or someone with a bit of confidence in the water (my partner) this is the perfect way to enjoy the stunning Dunnet Beach. North Coast Watersports provide everything we needed - all wetsuits, boots, gloves, and hats are in immaculate condition, making it easy to stay warm and comfortable no matter the weather. Their attention to detail and professionalism really sets them apart. This was hands down one of the highlights of our trip – the perfect mix of adventure, fun, and appreciation for the incredible natural beauty of the north coast. North Coast Watersports is easily the best company in the area, and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

A Brilliant Memory - Such a fun experience! I was slightly nervous it being Winter and never having surfed before but Iona was excellent with all of us (kids and adults), the surfing was great and genuinely it wasn’t cold. A real highlight of our NC500 trip. Highly recommend

Great people, great instructors, super location, super awesome experience - A truly amazing experience going out with these guys. Had booked myself in for three lessons (1 private and 2 group), during a little get away. The booking process faultless, super helpfull with any inquiries before the lessons and amazing instructors during. Learned so much, while it was relaxed, informal and fun. Will definitely come back if I'm ever in the area.
