Depart from the Dunedin Information Centre at 10am or 2pm during the summer, or at 9am in the winter. Enjoy a scenic 30-minute drive to Larnach Castle.

Upon arrival at Larnach Castle, an experienced driver guide will lead a comprehensive 45-minute tour of the castle itself. Following the guided tour, there will be 45 minutes of free time to relax at the Larnach Castle café or explore the gardens.

After the free time at Larnach Castle, return to Dunedin CBD for an optional one-hour City Sights Tour. This tour is fully narrated by the experienced driver guide and includes visits to:
• Baldwin Street (the world’s steepest street)
• The Dunedin Railway Station
• The First Church of Dunedin
• Knox Church
• Scenic lookouts over Dunedin City
• The Otago University
• Scafieville - Dunedin’s Student Quarter
• And more, if time permits.

For those not opting for the City Sights Tour, drop-off at the Dunedin Information Centre will be at 12:30pm in the summer or 11:30am in the winter.

If a Speights Brewery or Taieri Gorge Railway Tour is included, the driver will drop you off at your chosen activity after the City Sights Tour in the summer or after the Larnach Castle Tour in the winter.

For those including an Elm Wildlife Tour:

Summer:

The City Sights Tour will be conducted first, and Elm Wildlife will pick you up from Larnach Castle.

Winter:

Drop-off at the Dunedin Information Centre will occur after the Larnach Castle and City Sights Tour, with Elm Wildlife picking you up from there at 1:30pm.

Please Note: Pick-up from Port Chalmers is not included. Times may vary depending on seasonality and traffic.
