Amazing view of yellow eye penguins behavior in their habitat. - Fantastic tour with 8 others. We happened to have great weather and the views were amazing. Once we got to the beach destination, we saw many seals with pups, then yellow eye penguins, also with their young. We were fortunate to see the penguins coming home from fishing, what a cool sight to see them swim/body surf in, stand and make their way up the beach. Our guide, Paula, was the real deal, she stopped often along the way to our destination for photos. She was very respectful of the environment without being too preachy about it. She also had some nice conversations with the local cows, quite cute. The van was new, and clean. There were bathroom stops along the way.

Definitely recommend for a Port day in Dunedin! - What an amazing tour! To see the wildlife and rolling hills of New Zealand there is nothing like it. I took the tour twice because i loved it so much. The baby seals were my favorite part! Kelly was an exceptional guide, so full of knowledge. Definitely recommend for a day trip in Dunedin!

Dunedin amazing wildlife tour. - We did the 4 hour personally guided tour which was so informative and spectacular. Sian was a superb tour guide. Her knowledge, passion and commitment to the wildlife was clearly evident. She is a walking encyclopaedia on so many species. The Clearwater family are to be commended for their commitment to the environment and in particular to the seal, sea lion and penguin population of Dunedin. Enabling tourists to observe these species in their natural environment as well as educating them on the challenges they face particularly from human predators makes a massive contribution to the sustainability of these endangered species. Overall we would rate the tour 10/10 - incredible tour guide, super comfortable and clean vehicles, purpose built observation points to enjoy the most amazing close up experiences.

Great wildlife and amazing experience with penguins - Rachel and the guide were both amazing as host and guide on this wonderful trip to Rachel's family farm and beach. They were very knowledgeable about the local history and wildlife conservation. It was a very special treat for us to see and spend a wonderful evening with the yellow eyed penguins, baby fur seals and the spoonbill. As birders and wildlife photographers we couldnt have had a better experience.I am so happy I chose to go with Rachel's company.Hopefully we will be able to visit Dunedin again, our 2 days there felt very short.

Excellent and amazing wildlife tour in Otago Peninsular - The tour was amazing. We didn’t expect to come so up, close and personal with the animals. And the tour operator (ie Clearwater family, ie Jane Kerr) takes such good care of the animals to ensure that we observe them in specially-constructed lookout areas and that we (the humans) do not disturb the animals in their natural habitats. We were also brought around by a very experienced and knowledgeable driver/guide, Shan, who herself is doing her research in sea-lions, and we learnt so much about the birds and the animals from her along the way. Most of all, we love the fact that the tour is controlled at max 10 pax. On the whole, an excellent tour that everybody going to Dunedin should join.
