Following this, settle into the Sample Room at the Distillery Manager’s House for an interactive whisky-making session where you will craft your own single malt and bottle it to take home.

The Malt Master is essential in crafting Glengoyne whisky, expertly balancing flavors from various casks. Before you, a selection of cask strength whiskies, carefully chosen from the Glengoyne warehouse, will be displayed. You’ll immediately notice the color differences between American and European oak, as well as the previous sherry or bourbon fills.

Sample each one and step into the shoes of the Malt Master; add a hint from a bourbon cask here, enhance with a touch more sherry wood there. Like a true Malt Master, you’ll taste and adjust to create a unique cask strength, un-chillfiltered Glengoyne Highland Single Malt. This exclusive creation is presented in a 200ml Glengoyne bottle, complete with a record of your recipe.

With guidance from a Distillery Ambassador, participants will blend five single cask whiskies to create a personalized bottle of Glengoyne Single Malt. This unique 20cl bottle will be specially bottled and labeled with a note detailing the cask composition for you to take home. Glengoyne is the only distillery in Scotland providing this exclusive experience.
