- Dumbarton Castle - Perched above the River Clyde, Dumbarton Castle served as the capital of the ancient Kingdom of Strathclyde and has been a silent witness to numerous historical events over its 800-year history. From Viking invasions to being the prison of William Wallace before his handover to the English, and a refuge for Mary Queen of Scots, this site is rich in history. Weather permitting, there is an optional short stop for photographs.
- Sweeney’s Cruise Co Loch Lomond - Embark on a cruise on Loch Lomond, the largest Scottish loch by surface area, and immerse yourself in its fascinating history while enjoying the breathtaking views. Alternatively, if the cruise is not preferred, a visit to the charming town of Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond will be arranged.
