Not just another brick in the wall tour - With or without a guide, touring the Walls of Dubrovnik is a must. If you go it alone, the views will remain fantastic, but you will miss so much history and the opportunity to ask questions about Dubrovnik past and present. Our guide, Marko, a local resident, was excellent and made the tour more fun with mini quizzes along the way which helped us appreciate more of the rich history of the Old Dubrovnik. Highly recommended!

Dubrovnik Walls. Small Group tour - Marko is an excellent guide. Our group was just two couples.
We thoroughly enjoyed his tour of the walls.He is extremely knowledgeable, engaging with a great sense of humour.

Rainy day best decision - Rainy day best decision to go. We had the wonderful tour guide Lucija all to ourselves and the walls were empty. Bit of rain never killed anyone! Even had time to stop for a coffee!

Fabulous - Marko’s was a fabulous guide. Kind, patient, knowledgeable, passionate, funny and a local who still lives Old Town. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with Markos and learned so much about his beloved city. I would highly recommend this tour to anybody wanting to learn about this beautiful part of the world.

YES - Marko was amazing. He helped me get over my fear of heights. Very difficult if you have a fear of heights. I would not recommend it. If no fear …go for it. Marko had tons of interesting information.

Plan ahead and reserve a walking tour with Marko when visiting the Old City Walls - Marko makes the tour. Our local tour guide— who was born and raised within the old city walls and lives there to this day— was outstanding. His knowledge of the old city, history of Dubrovnik over the centuries, and grasp of the geopolitics was extremely helpful in understanding this gem of a city a bit better. His English is excellent and his humor dry and refreshing. He enjoys a bit of “friendly competition” as he puts it on his tours, quizzing us about various facts as we went along (multiple choice style when we were stumped). He had been recommended to us by friends who had taken his tour the week prior and we were as delighted as they had been by his guided tour of the Old City walls. 5 stars.

Excellent overview of Old Town Dubrovnik - We did a private City Walls of Dubrovnik tour. Lucy was a great guide-she grew up in old town Dubrovnik and not only shared the very interesting history of the city but also shared personal stories from her family and experiences about life in Dubrovnik. She also gave us fantastic local recommendations. Our family greatly enjoyed the tour—highly recommended.
