Croatia revisited. - We booked a trip from Rovinj to the Lim canal for an afternoon out and bring back memories of our first trip up the gorge as it was known when we first went up. The Qua Vadis was the boat we travelled in it was a very smooth ride up the gorge. Stopped at the top for about 40 mins enough tome to stretch the legs and a coffee. Going home we stopped at what the call the Pirated Cave, climbed to the the cave would not recommend if you are unsteady on your feet as there are no real steps or bannisters to grasp on the way up or down. To round of the day we ran into a pod of dolphin near the gorge opening and the captain stopped the boat to enable us to catch a glimpse of the jumping out of the sea. The drinks we were supplied with were good but I would not recommend the Grappa as it is an acquired taste. The trip is a must for anyone visiting this area and I would recommend the Qua Vadis as the boat to do with.

A really great day out - Excellent trip, it was a real pleasure cruise from the moment we got on the boat. The guide was excellent, speaking many languages fluently and taking time to chat to passengers. There was enough time to visit at the picturesque stops. The food was great and plenty of it with plenty of wine too. Very good value for money

More worthwhile excursion as an alternative to the beach! - The ride was very well organized, the stays were the perfect length, the food was excellent (there was a vegetarian variation besides fish and chicken!!!), drinks were abundant at lunch and were also refilled (especially the water at 36 degrees), There was a small musical surprise on board. Completely satisfied And a very good Price quality ratio.

Highly recommended - Agenda with Kristofor tours from Porec to Rovinij and back across the Limford Canal with 1h swim stop and the opportunity to jump from the boat into the sea. In Rovinij there is 2h time to explore the city, on the return to the boat the tables are set with water, iced tea and wine and there is meat, fish and vegetable risotto, depending on your choice. The crew is attentive and very funny, definitely recommended... It was a beautiful day and worth every euro.

On the day (20 Jun) we... - On the day (20 Jun) we originally booked the trip we waited at the pickup point for 45 minutes with another couple (who had booked with TUI) and weren't picked up. A taxi driver had arrived, spoke to people who were waiting for other trips, tourist trains and airport transfers and waved a pamphlet about - it turned out that this was a flier for the boat trip. When I spoked to him and showed him my tickets he said he was there because the hotel had phoned him for a taxi, and denied any knowledge of a boat trip. He then drove off. The other couple contacted TUI and explained the situation, were advised that someone had been sent to the pickup point and said that there was no-one there. TUI rearranged their trip for the next day. We tried to contact the tour operator using the number provided but couldn't get through. Valentina, hotel receptionist, tried the number and said it wasn't working, and then searched for another number and got through. Our trip was then rearranged for the next day. On 21 Jun, pickup was made by the tour operators bus and it seemed that there were too many people waiting. The pick up driver contacted base and arranged for additional transport to carry out pickup so everyone got to the port OK (10 min driveaway). Trip itself was good, crew cheerful and helpful. There was good commentary about where we sailing past. Rovinj pleasant town and strolled between the two harbours. Lunch served on board as we left Rovinj (slightly delayed as three girls who spent all the time posing for selfies were late returning the boat). Food (meat) was good and wine pleasant and plentiful (replenished during return to Porec). Seconds were offered if you wanted more. Journey to the pirate cave very pleasant and saw Jolly Roger above the cave. Peaceful walk around Vrsar, another pretty town. On return journey entertained by captain playing accordion and singing various shanties. Good trip, enjoyed by various nationalities and was value for money. Marred by lack of pickup by the taxi driver, but operator and receptionist managed to rearrange tour.

A very nice trip - We were given the very back seat in 37 degrees, right in the blazing sun, and that with 3 children (10 - 16 years old)! After asking several times for an alternative (which was possible with little effort), we were told no, with the comment that we would have to sit in the shade on the way back. The journey was almost unbearable because it was unbearably hot. Unfortunately, this situation had a negative impact on the trip. The first stop in Rovinj was very nice and 1.5 hours was enough to explore this beautiful city. Afterwards we had lunch on the boat (vegetarian: sauerkraut, frozen vegetables, thick slices of cheese and bread / meat or fish: chicken + sausages or fish with sauerkraut and bread) with drinks. The food was not particularly appealing, so we didn't eat it. However, since some of the other passengers ate it, it seems to have tasted good. The second stop was in Vrsar. There we had another 1.5 hour stopover and the option of either exploring the city or going to the small beach area, which was quite crowded, and swimming. Because of the extremely hot temperatures, we spent the time there. Then we drove back to Porec. On the way back, an employee played his accordion, which was nice. Would we do this trip again? Probably not... The €225 we paid for it could have been better invested.

Canceled for ‘Weather’ on a Perfect Day – Dishonest Excuse - We received a notification through the TripAdvisor app just one hour before departure that our boat ride was canceled due to "bad weather." This was surprising, as the sky was clear, the forecast showed no rain or wind, and it was a perfect day for a cruise (see attached photo). When we went down to the dock to ask, the ticket seller explained that the real reason was low bookings, only about 10 people had signed up. It’s disappointing that the company chose not to be upfront from the beginning. Canceling is one thing, but providing a false reason feels dishonest. Unfortunately, that lack of transparency warrants a 1 star review.
