• Pile Gate - After gathering in the Pile area, in front of Sky bar, begin the historical journey through Old Town. Pass by the Franciscan Monastery and admire Orlando’s Column, a monument on the Stradun symbolizing the city’s enduring freedom and independence. Also, see Onofrio’s Fountain, constructed in 1438 at the end of a 8-mile (12-km) aqueduct that supplied the city with water.
• Old Town - Enter the old town and proceed to the city walls entrance.
• Walls of Dubrovnik - Purchase tickets for the city walls and then walk along them.

In the 11th century, the sea channel separating the city from the mainland was filled in, leading to the construction of a single wall enclosing the present-day Old Town. The city walls have been restored multiple times to maintain their original look. With your guide, explore Fort Revelin and Minceta Tower within the city walls (entrance fees not included), and learn about the strategic importance of these forts in Dubrovnik’s history. You will also see Fort Lovrijenac in the distance, the only fort associated with the city walls but physically separate, which you may visit after the tour.
