Good day out - Good fun and handy location. Wouldn’t spend more than an hour but well worth the price. Educational also.

Informative, horror, accessible and worth while seeing - The wax museum is such great fun. It has something for everybody and for all ages, from cartoons, Irish history, literature, tv, music, space & horror. I really enjoyed the horror section. The creativity and work that is gone into all of the exhibitions throughout the museum is fabulous. If your visiting Dublin the was museum is a must and it’s reasonably priced to enter. The staff are helpful with the lifts for my son who is in a wheelchair and it’s very accessible

Definitely worth visiting, great fun! - The wax museum is such great fun. I didn't know what to expect first but it exceeded my expectations. It has something for everybody and for all ages, from cartoons, Irish history and literature to space and horror. My favourite was the horror section, there are some great horror characters there with the horror hotel being a highlight. Listen to the girl on the other end of the phone at the horror hotel reception desk and you'll know what I mean! The creativity and work that is gone into all of the exhibitions throughout the museum is fabulous. With all of the hecticness of Dublin city centre don't leave without visiting the wax museum. It is definitely worth at least one visit and the entry price is reasonable. You can go around it again if you like. Next time I'm in Dublin I'm definitely going back ♥️

Love it. - My 11 year old loved it.He was excited to see Michael Jackson, Elvis and President Trump. The highlight for him was the chamber of horrors....he was really scared!
Thanks for a great experience.

Loved it - We thoroughly enjoyed our trip here. Good price and right in the centre. The famous wax models were really good and we took some great photos and the horror section in the basement was amazing. Especially funny was mrs brown at the end. To finish off we had a souvenir of our hands together in wax. The wax is very hot so be prepared but was worth it.

Enjoyable, fun activity - The National Wax Museum is a wonderful place to visit.
I wasn't sure what to expect, you can never be sure of the quality of the sculptures but some of the models on display exceeded my expectations.
The likes of Trump, Harry Potter and the world of horror bore no resemblance. Ronan Keating was more David Bowie !!!
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The staff members on duty weren’t very friendly. The counter attendance distracted and the staff on the rooms unhelpful. I expected more of the famed Irish hospitality and welcome.
We also did the wax hands and they turned out dreadful. Wasn’t even given a box for them, just a paper bag to bring them home.
Overall a good exhibition right in the heart of the city but a bit pricy.
Mind your head downs stairs. There are lots of low beams.
A one off experience. Probably will never return.

This Ain’t Madame Tussauds - Many of the wax figures were downright creepy. We were somewhat disappointed in this museum after going to multiple Madame Tussaud’s locations. This is a cheap imitation. There is are some sections that are interesting and creative. Keep your expectations low and you won’t be disappointed. However some is too scary for small children.

Don't bother. - I hate giving a bad review but honestly this wasn't great. First of all the lady at reception took the money and that's it didn't say where to go have a good time nothing so we walked in. Kids needed to go toilet and the toilet was so disgusting my 10year old was even in shock! All the stuff at the start was very dated, dirty, broken and old. I felt like I needed to wash my hand touching anything, the musty smell and a bit of bleech to mop the floors wouldn't go astray. I used to go to the old wax museum beside the central bank of Ireland and that was alot better. No figures of any relevant famous characters or singers or anything. Wouldn't say it'd be open much longer needs a massive refurb ASAP if it does 🤢

Dreadful Museum. Don't waste time and money here. - This museum is beyond bad. It's so bad it was funny. None of the wax works looked remotely like who they should have been. Very old tatty waxworks. The redeeming part was in fact a representation of Father Ted's front room. Which was ok. Irish writers and poets waxworks in need of a clean and spruce up or remake. The horror part was like a bad funfair ghost train. And all very dark to hide the dilapidated building. Mrs Brown on the toilet was gross and and the similarities were as bad as the others. We walked through in about 15 mins and I came out wishing I'd not bothered. Along with others also commenting on how bad it was. At the very start there is a bored girl who puts down her book she was reading to ask you if you'd like to pay for a photo opportunity against a green screen. I declined and she sat back and got back to reading her book. And don't get me started on the cess pit of a toilet. All in all dreadful. The very worst of the Dublin attractions.

terrible - The museum is really old and uninteresting. Several elements were really scary and not just the horror room which she was absolutely abominable. I deeply regret my purchase and my experience and all my family who also accompanied me.
