Always worth a visit - The tour was a lot of fun. We immediately got along very well with our funny and likeable guide Alan. His knowledge is incredible. You can tell from his many stories and the way he talks about music and musicians that he loves his profession. We had an unforgettable morning.

Sympathy for the guide - Great visit of the place, almost private since there was only... the two of us, coached by the excellent French guide Aymeric: congratulations to him for the quality and intelligence of his presentation, full of humor. Don't change anything Aymeric, and may Irish rock continue to inspire you! The French of the South

Visit to the Irish Rock 'n' Roll Museum – A True Fan's Experience - As a huge U2 fan, visiting the Irish Rock 'n' Roll Museum was high on my Dublin to-do list. I went there with a group of friends, full of excitement – though, true to rock 'n' roll spirit, we arrived fashionably late and missed our scheduled time slot. Luckily, Alan, the guide, didn’t mind at all. He simply added us to another group without hesitation. And even though there were quite a few of us, the vibe was fantastic from the start. Alan is an absolute legend – a brilliant storyteller who brings the whole place to life. The museum itself doesn’t overflow with jaw-dropping artifacts, but that honestly doesn’t matter. The magic lies in the stories, the energy, and Alan’s ability to make Irish music history feel alive. Of course, I wouldn’t have minded a bit more U2 content – but I get it, Bono isn’t exactly everyone's favorite among the Irish 😄 I already know a lot about the band anyway, but still, the experience was amazing. In short? Totally worth it. Great fun, great music, great people. Because at the end of the day – we’re all a little bit Irish, aren’t we? 🇮🇪🎶🍀

Tour guide Emily: what a corker… - So: the small group comprised couples from Ruthin N.Wales (us), Seattle, France, Hungary, Switzerland. We were directly behind Emily as we traipsed along & down bare-boarded corridors & stairwells to the bowels of this poster-strewn cave of sound & history, and as she expressively explained her view of Taylor Swift I realised I needed to tune my ear to her broad beautiful dialect. My guess throughout, however, was that the majority of our group weren’t catching half of the details and/or her fab humour: this meant that we alone were laughing hysterically and appreciating Emily’s performance whilst others seemed in a daze. I mention this as I have no idea whether this might be true of the other guides, and it might be worth considering if you cannot follow a fast-talking Dubliner. Plenty of fab stories of the plethora of Irish musical talent, and Emily cleverly picked up on others’ stories throughout the 90mins and embroidered them with her own. Room upon room, cheek by jowl with framed discs, signed photos, tour memorabilia, and latterly the bands’ stage & a dedicated Thin Lizzy/Phil Lynot room with their crazy huge mixing desk: it was a tour filled with intimate knowledge within the gritty atmosphere of a real historical recording studio. Well worth the dosh, and for us mostly to say thanks to Emily as she was a class act 💋

I wouldn’t bother - I would describe this tour of having all the ingredients of a delicious meal and it ended up tasting like burnt toast. The venue, the history, the stories - it is all there HOWEVER our tour guide (Emily) lacked any ability to bring it together. She was clearly passionate but confusing, self indulgent, irrelevant are some adjectives that come to mind!
