A blast from history - A blast from history I think everyone should visit this museum and learn about the history of Irish emigration, everything they have been through and had to endure. It is very large and interesting, I recommend visiting it.

A bit expensive. - Wasn't exactly sure what to expect at this museum but we were surprisingly impressed. Its a modern museum with modern visual/audio displays. Its a bit on the expensive side when compared to other Dublin attractions.

In-depth and High-Tech museum - Great that the museum was open on New Year’s Day and was not very crowded. It was a fun and interactive museum with a lot of high-tech exhibits and a museum passport to stamp in each room. Definitely give yourself time. If you want to look through everything, you can easily spend 4-5 hours here. You can also come back another day with the same ticket if you don’t want to do the whole museum in one session.

Good introduction to the history of the Irish people - Lovely, modern open space. A lot of really interesting information. However, the way it was displayed became a bit repetitive after a while. Recommend it as a good introduction to the history of Irish people.

Not all that epic - It was OK… but only OK. I didn’t realise it was a completely screen / interactive exhibition with no tangible exhibits at all. Info about the ‘bad’ history was scant and inaccurate in places. Definitely ‘light’ in terms of facts and history. Expensive for what it is (and isn’t).

Shallow and a disappointing wasted opportunity to really inform. . - Disappointing. Short on real information or context both as to how badly the Irish were treated and the detailed circumstances practicalities and conditions of the main waves of emigration. Some of the video material was ok but there was a lot of showy rather glitzy superficial form and not much substance. It was not a cheap exhibition and represented poor value for money.
