Fun for the whole family! - John was an amazing guide! He regaled us with Irish history from Celtic time to today. The combination of lore + history kept both parents and kids entertained and engaged. John has a deep love for Ireland and it comes through in his tours. I’d highly recommend.

Wonderful way to see the city! - Highly recommend this fantastic way to see Dublin! We had an incredible day with our tour guide Mark, who catered our tour to the specific interests of our family of four (Mom, Dad, to young 20s sons). We were able to see a great deal of the city while also hearing history, personal stories, as well as legends and lore that surround the many spots we visited. Mark's love of his city, as well as his ability to weave in contemporary stories and pop culture references, made for a fabulous experience. Put on your walking shoes and enjoy this lovely way to learn all about Dublin and Ireland!

Professional Tour - Kevin, our guide, did a marvelous job. Knows his history, tailored our tour to a few must sees. Book of Keels and a pint at a pub, plus walked a large part of Dublin. The folks at Dublin Tours are first class, provided ample details before the date, making our meeting up with our guide incredibly easy.

Great private tour - Mark was a great guide! We enjoyed our tour with him. We had only one day in Dublin and he did a great job covering all the highlights. I would strongly recommend.

Book the Tour! - Colm was an absolutely fabulous tour guide. He met us at our hotel at 9am for a 5 hr private tour of nearly of Dublin, and we headed off to tour the city. We had 4 adults and 5 children (ages 14-9). Colm did a great job with keeping the content engaging for the whole party. We really enjoyed seeing both side of the river, and loved all the history Colm shared as we walked the streets of Dublin. We enjoyed a lovely lunch during the tour at a great restaurant in Tempe Bar (The Cappuccino Bar). I would definitely recommend this tour for those hoping to learn a bit more about the History of Dublin.

Best Private Walking Tour of Dublin!! Truly! - Let me begin by making it plain: if you're looking for the best private tour guide in Dublin, Garvan is your man! I'm serious! Look no further. Garvan is a good looking man but it’s not his just his outward appearance. His light shines from within. He is engaging, enthusiastic, has unflagging energy, and is a font of knowledge. We learned an incredible amount of Irish history and had a great time with lots of laughs. He has a great generosity of spirit – he kept going after the 5 hour walking tour was complete and I have a feeling he would have kept going if we let him. By the end we felt we had made a new, good friend. We hope to see him again soon. Really, if you are going to go for the expense of a private tour, you might as well have the best. It's worth it, and Garvan is your man.

Not ALL of Dublin, but great - You can’t see all of Dublin in five hours. Not even close. But we saw and learned about Trinity College, The Book of Kells, Christchurch Cathedral and Dublin Castle. Our tour guide Kevin was very knowledgeable and engaging. By the time we had lunch with him at the end, he was practically family
