Great History Tour! - Eamon is so knowledgeable and gave us exactly the tour we asked for, and then some. We were interested in the 1916 Easter Rising and he gave us a thorough understanding, took us to key locations and brought along supplementary materials. He's a great guide and natural teacher, and just a lot of fun to be with. He even steered us to a pub with great music at the end of our tour. If we had more time I'd book him again!

Such a good tour - Ruairi was an amazing guide. Really enjoyed this tour! Ruairí is very knowledgeable, kind, and really funny! I highly recommend him and this tour. My husband and I have a fairly decent grasp on the Easter rising, he was able to fill in so many blanks. Also, seeing the places where this happened was amazing. Thank you so much!

Don’t miss this tour! - Best tour we have ever taken. Our tour guide Keelan was knowledgeable, personable and had very valuable insights. I had hoped to learn a bit more about my family’s history and ended up with a fairly complete picture. We started with information about the famine and ended with information about present day Ireland. Walking through Trinity college at graduation was a happy coincidence. Our guide’s ability to describe and explain history and all of its nuances made history come alive. There was so much information that I will need to do the tour again to retain the information! My whole family loved this tour and our tour guide. I would give more stars if I could.

Great tour, great guide - Our guide was wonderful! He’s a very engaging and personable young man, and he answered all our questions. For someone so very young, he has excellent people skills and knows the subject thoroughly. I will recommend your service and him particularly to anyone we know who visits Dublin, and when we return, we will book another tour with Viator. The only hitch was that the cemetery hours were not as he expected, and it was closed by the time we got there.

In depth look at Dublin - Edward was super knowledgeable and friendly. It was great to see so much of Dublin, including places I would’ve never known were part of the 1916 Easter Rising. Tour went a bit longer than expected but I didn’t realize that until after we were finished. Totally worth it.

Not enough depth - These tours are, I suspect, guide dependent. Ours was an unlicensed guide who was pretty knowledgeable, but did not seem that organized. A lot of our conversation was unrelated to the 1916 topic as well. He was friendly with a good sense of humor, but the tour itself was not much more than we could have done as a self guided audio tour. Given all the five star reviews this tour has had, maybe we just had an off day.

Never came alive - Very disappointed to arrive at meeting point and being told our guide had an emergency and she was replaced by a young man who had academic knowledge but was boring. There should e excitement in a revolutionary story
