Great Guide & Great way to see the city - Recently went on the hop on hop off tour with our guide Richie. It was a great way to learn more about the city while seeing all the main attractions! Richie was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Dublin, and very helpful in providing information and advice on where to go and what to do! Super funny and great at singing! It was great entertainment for the family and will definitely be recommending to others who visit the city!

On The Buses! - Great service. If you are a visitor buy a Leap card, weekly one is great value. Available at Spar in O’Connell Street when Dublin Bus offices not open. Hop on and off Dublin tour bus is excellent but never go in the rush hour, and do not take the recorded commentary option, it’s awful. Take the bus where the driver gives a live commentary. Best time 9am on a weekend. The Dublin traffic is horrendous otherwise. Usual Irish friendly bus drivers help.

Great tour of Dublin - We had a great time on the tour. We had amazing bus drivers - all locals! Everyone told great, funny stories and sang to us. We learned so much. My mother has mobility issues so we didn’t get off the bus except to do the Guinness tour (that was also great fun!). The DoDublin bus is owned and operated by Dublin public transport.

Great overview of Dublin - We bought two days passes upon arrival to get an overview of Dublin. It’s a great way to get the “lay of the land” but the stops are hard to locate and you may wait 20-25 mins for a bus to appear. It’s fine if you’re not on a set schedule but take that into account if you have specific timed reservations for attractions.

Disappointing - While the drivers were good, we had a very unfortunate experience on our second day (we purchased a 48 hour pass) where the busses were running very late. We spent 30 minutes to go one stop and then the next bus didn’t show up in time so we ended up completely missing out on using our passes for a whole day. No apologies or anything from the company. Just “we can’t do anything”. So, consider this if thinking about getting a Do Dublin pass. They’ll just keep your money and not care at all if you don’t get to use it.
