Our tour guide Phelim was... - Our tour guide Phelim was fantastic! We were only in Dublin for the day and are so glad we booked this. Phelim was so knowledgeable, the info was very interesting and we particularly enjoyed that he sang a few Irish songs! The information leaflet provided was very useful and we enjoyed the structure of the tour - starting with an introduction and overview of the rebellion timeline while we enjoyed a pint in a pub before embarking on the main portion of the tour on foot. We will be recommending this tour to our friends who are also visiting Dublin soon!

1916. Dublin. Passion. - We have done many walking tours around Europe but this was clearly the best. Our tour guide was friendly and considerate guiding us around central Dublin. We were given a very useful leaflet to put the events of Easter 1916 in context. Most importantly our guide was passionate and treated us to several rebel songs. By the time we reached the GPO my wife and I (both history teachers for nearly four decades) we're nearly in tears. THANKS

Well worth it - The highlight of our short trip to Dublin! A great way to see the city, but unbelievably interesting as well. I’ve recommended this tour to everyone I’ve spoken about Dublin with since. Our guide Tom was extremely passionate and knowledgeable and we could have listened to him for another 3 hours.

Essential. - Brilliant tour - hard not to engage in cliches. Tom is obviously deeply expert in and cares deeply about the subject matter and brought emotion, storytelling and imagination to the tour, as well as a dash of (sometimes gallows) humour and hope. Great stuff, do it.

A moving trip through history. I must for anyone interested! - We met our guide, Tom, at the International Bar as instructed and found him to be polite and personable. He gave us a brief history of Ireland before we set out, to set the stage. Tom is very knowledgeable on the subject of the Easter Rising of 1916. We walked from one important location to another and Tom would give us details and facts which testified to his knowledge of the events. More importantly, at least to myself, was his passion. The way he imparted the tragedy of the innocent lives taken along with those involved was moving beyond words. If you want to learn about the Irish Rebellion of 1916 this is the tour for you; and Tom is the man to hear it from. I can not recommend this tour enough! It will reach out and grab you!

Incredible and informative walk back through time, thank you TOM! - What an informative tour. Certainly a highlight of our trip. So much pride and knowledge from our amazing tour guide Tom - we are so much more properly informed on the 1916 uprising and the reason behind the struggle for Irish independence. Tom - you were masterful in storytelling and holding court for our full group. Just a simply amazing job! Our full thanks! And the Palace Bar was indeed not to be missed! Blake and Dana, MN, USA
