• Bastakia Quarter - Dubai is renowned as one of the most modern cities globally, yet it also offers a glimpse into its past before becoming a tourist hotspot. Situated along Dubai Creek, the historic Al Fahidi Neighborhood allows visitors to experience the traditional lifestyle that was prevalent in Dubai from the mid-nineteenth century to the 1970s. The tour starts with a visit to the historical district of Al Fahidi, also known as Al Bastakia. There will be several stops to discuss the history, culture, traditions, and lifestyle of Old Dubai’s residents.
• Bur Dubai Abra Station - We will board a small boat (known as Abra) to cross Dubai’s famous creek, heading to the old markets (Spice & Gold).
• Coins Museum - Temporarily Closed for Renovation Right after the traditional house, we will pass by the wall of Old Dubai on our way to the coin museum, where you can see ancient coins of Arabia and Dubai, followed by a stop in front of a mosque to learn more about Islam.
• Textile Souk - A short walk through the aisles of Dubai’s textile markets leads to the Abra (Boat).
• Dubai Spice Souk - The Spice Souk is located in Deira, the commercial and cultural hub, and one of the oldest parts of Dubai. The souk is famous for its narrow alleyways and shops filled with a vast array of spices from around the world. The Spice Souk is a stunning blend of vibrant colors and aromas that attracts many visitors.
• Dubai Gold Souk - During your visit to Dubai, don’t miss the Deira Gold Souk. Tiny stores in narrow streets are filled with mostly Arabic and Indian style gold jewelry, featuring traditional styles and incredible designs.
