Great tour - We had a fantastic tour with our guide Hassan! He was incredibly informative and made the whole experience fun and engaging. It was fascinating to learn about the history and culture while exploring the old part and souks of Dubai. The food and tea that was served were absolutely delicious and added a nice touch. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting an authentic and enjoyable glimpse into Dubai’s heritage.

Amazing tour - would recommend - Our guide Hassan was amazing! We learnt greatly about the history of the UAE and Islam. The souk (Spice and Gold) exploring was really cool to see and it was fantastic to walk through the heritage village then ride on the Abra. Hassan gave us good knowledge and helped us barter/ haggle for fair prices in the souk. Great guide, great refreshments and great experience! Would 100% do again.

Right pace for kids and great information - Khan was great! He kept the pace just right for kids. Provided plenty of breaks in shaded areas and plenty of snacks. When my kids got tired he provided the right solution and guidance to cut down our walking time by taking a ferry. Khan was knowledgeable and we learnt a lot of Dubai and UAE.

An Unforgettable Tour That Hits All Five Senses - The tour my Mom and I had with our lovely guide, Khan was even better than our high expectations! Khan was well organized. He had a full group of people to guide and he messaged us separately to make sure we were all at the meeting spot. I like that kind of gesture because it takes away any anxiety of not being sure if you're at the right spot or not. Khan was impressively educated on the history of Dubai! He kept us engaged throughout his well informed explanations of the culture, architecture, history, camels, food, markets, and more. I don't want to give too much away! He was friendly and very patient. If you're wondering if you should get the premium tour, don't wonder any further! Do it! You get to have extra snacks and drinks and I promise you, everything is so delicious! The tour was a pleasure for all the senses. Wonderful smells of spices, coffee, and herbs. Delicious snacks. Lively traditional music sung in Arabic in Al Khama Heritage Restaurant (meeting spot). Beautiful historical buildings, the sun shimmering Dubai canal, and all that beautiful gold behind the store front windows in the Souks. I would definitely take a tour with Khan again. If you're reading this and you book this trip, you are in for a treat!

A fantastically fun and filling food tour! - Our tour guide Hassan was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different sites and foods/drinks we tasted. We were very large group and he was patient with all of us as some of us moved a tad bit slower or stopped to snap a few pictures. When we would make a stop, Hassan spoke loudly for all of us to hear, which I find is becoming more rare in tour guides. I’m used to missing a few sentences here and there due to surrounding noise but Hassan was very eloquent and clear.

10/10 - We had an unforgettable time exploring Dubai Old Town, and a huge part of that was thanks to my guide, Maaz Khan. From the start, his warmth and knowledge stood out- when he began sharing the rich history of the UAE, We asked if we could film him, and he graciously agreed. Later, he told us he appreciated being asked first, since most people just shove a camera in his face without a word. As he spoke, he handed out local snacks- dates, spiced coffee with saffron, and these delicious fried dough balls covered in caramel. It felt like more than a tour; it felt like being welcomed into a story. He taught us about the Emirates’ history (did you know Abu Dhabi makes up more than 80% of the UAE?), walked us through restored historic homes, and even snuck us into a boutique hotel just for a quick peek and some photos. He painted vivid pictures of camel pageants, the way Bedouins used goat fur to cool their tents, and the deep cultural significance of palm trees and dates. We strolled along the shore, took a peaceful boat ride, and finally wandered into the vibrant market of Old Dubai. There, he arranged a mini tour inside one of the shops where we learned about real vs. fake saffron, smelled traditional incense used to welcome guests, and even got to taste locally made chocolate. Maaz Khan didn’t just guide us- he gave us a connection to the place. We walked away with memories, stories, and genuine appreciation for a side of Dubai that most visitors might overlook.
