Great Heritage Tour of the Isle of Man. - The Tour Guide drove us around most of the island providing background and stories along the way. We were able to visit the church my grandmother and her family attended and the place they most likely lived. The more info you can provide the Tour Guide the better chance you will get results. This tour was the highlight of our trip.

Amazing Ancestry Tour - Jane gave us an incredible and extensive tour Isle of Man tour. She took us to our family ancestral sites and to many beautiful and fascinating places. We saw spectacular scenic vistas of land and sea, prehistoric standing stones, seals peeking at us from the sea, lighthouses, Manx sheep, and the huge Laxey Wheel. We traveled miles of lovely country lanes. Jane had carefully researched our family in preparation for our visit and took us to the churches and areas where they had lived and worshipped. This tour exceeded our expectations and is highly recommended.

Amazing Ancestry tour led by Jane! - I highly recommend the Isle of Man Ancestry tour with Jane! We communicated in advance where I provided Jane with some details of my family history, and she absolutely delivered a better than anticipated experience for my son and I on our day dedicated to exploring our heritage on the Isle of Man as well as a custom sight seeing tour as this was our first time on the Isle of Man. Jane spent time discussing our family history throughout the day as we visited site after sight, covering the whole south half of the Isle in one day.

Heritage experience, highly recommended - I recently attended a tour with Jane the guide on the Isle of Man ancestry tour. It was an incredible experience that I won't forget. The tour was well organised taking me and my husband to significant locations that played a vital role in both the history to the Isle and my ancestors.
One of the highlights was visiting a number of local churches where relatives are buried, due to the records held on the Isle and our guides research we were able to find ancestors and visit their graves. With this information it enabled me to visit the Isle of Man Manx Museum to find out life stories about my ancestors.
Other highlights included finding out that local authors had included relatives in both fictional and factual books, none of this would have been possible without the knowledge of the guide who was both passionate and knowledgeable throughout the tour and over the coming days when I was asking lots of follow up questions.
I was impressed by how the guide tailored the experience to my family to make the tour feel personal and meaningful.
Overall the ancestry and heritage tour was not just informative but deeply engaging. It ignited a newfound appreciation for my family's history and heritage and would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in exploring their roots.

Finding My Manx Roots - Jane was a wonderful guide and was ready to help me find some of the gravestones, churches and towns of where my dad’s paternal side had lived. My husband and I enjoyed learning about the island past and present as well.

Exceeded our expectations- highly recommend - Jane exceeded our expectations both as a tour guide and a genealogist. We learned so much about Isle of Man and our ancestors place in the island’s history and we had a fabulous time from start to finish. Prior to our trip, we knew the names of direct ancestors going back to 1742. We also knew something about their jobs. Jane had found their church, their grave sites, and stained glassed windows in the church with family inscriptions. She presented us with more information and more documents that has helped us connect our ancestor to a more famous cousin who was a contemporary of the ancestor that emigrated to the United States in 1861. Reading about that notable cousin has been key to answering the main question we had- why did Great Grandfather leave Isle of Man? Beyond the family history, Jane was an absolute pleasure to be with.

Tour of Santon parish, including Ballafurt; Malew, St. Marks, Marown. - Jane provided a tremendous tour of Mann. She does an incredible amount of research in preparation for a tour, and was able to take us to all of the churchyards where my ancestors were born, christened, married, and died. Also, we made it to the farm that my 3g grandfather owned. In addition, we saw many sites including the Great Laxey Wheel and Peel.
I would recommend Jane to anyone wanting to dive into their family history on the Isle of Man.

Loved the Ancestry tour with Jane - My son and I truly loved the Ancestry tour with Jane! She took the family info we gave her and connected the dots with places and people on the Island. We appreciated how the tour was tailored to us. We were able to drive by the homes our ancestors lived in! We covered a lot of ground and appreciate how thoughtful the tour was and all the info Jane shared with us!

Fantastic Ancestry / Isle of Man Tour - Our tour guide, Jane, was very sweet and knowledgeable. Before getting to the Isle of Man, she had requested that we send the names of our Manx ancestors. When she picked us up for our tour, she had information gathered about those ancestors (as much as she could) and took us to a couple of cemeteries where they may have been buried. She also took us along the streets of Peel where they had lived.
When we went to the House of Manannan, she let us roam the museum at our own pace, which was nice. She also showed us inside St John's church, Tynwald Hill, some Loughton sheep, a view of the Calf of Man, Cregneash Village, and Castle Rushen (which, unfortunately, was closed when we got there).
Overall, it was a wonderful day and we got to see things we either wouldn't have or couldn't have done on our own.
