The perfect way to explore the Isle of Man! - This was a beautiful day on the Isle of Man! Our driver and guide, Jed and Louise, took us on a journey across Man, leaving us wanting to return to this wonderous island! We explored from North to South, seeing the major sites like the Great Wheel of Laxley, Tynwald Hill, the TT course, historic Ramsey, the Peel Castle and Lighthouse, and Castle Rushen in beautiful Castletown. Jed and Louise were delightful! Their banter was so fun, but also informative. They took us to some wonderful off the beaten path places like Cregneashto see a typical village (complete with Manx Longhorn Sheep) and the Calf of Man and a colony of seals. This was s very memorable and enjoyable day with great guides and beautiful countryside!

Good tour, but started late - We enjoyed the tour, and found the Isle of Man very interesting and scenic. Unfortunately, we got off to a poor start. We had instructions to meet our tour guide at the Duke Travel Shop at the Sea Terminal Building at 10 AM. We arrived 15 minutes early at the appointed location inside the terminal, then waited and waited. When no one showed up to collect us by 10: 10, we tried calling the phone number for the travel company, multiple times. Because our tour was on a Sunday, no one answered. We had no way to contact our guide, since this was the only number we had been given. After seeking help from the information desk at the terminal, we still had no idea how to reach anyone who knew where he was. The ladies there told us we had probably received a scam booking. We walked around outside looking for a marked van. Just as we were about to give up (now 11:10 AM), the driver approached us in the parking lot. He was parked at the outside of the lot in an unmarked van. Lesson learned, get a cellphone number for your driver, not just the business phone for the tour office. He was annoyed with us, as we were with him. Fortunately, he made a quick revision of our course (cut short by an hour), and we had a good time after all.
