This tour meets at Ijentea Kalea, 6, 20003 Donostia, Gipuzkoa. We'll meet at the bronze sculpture in front of Goikoa Palace (Goikoa Jauregia) located behind the city hall. Your guide will be holding a red Devour Tours tote bag or sign.

What better to do than... - What better to do than spend a rainy day in San Sebastián eating fantastic food and drinking excellent wines with new friends? I also learned a lot about the history and culture of San Sebastián .

A great intro to local pintxos and wine - Begonia's pintxo tour was fantastic! It was informative, fun, and took us to places we wouldn't have visited on our own. We loved the family-owned places and the group size was perfect for making new friends. We highly recommend joining this tour early in your trip to San Sebastian.

A local’s perspective on pintxos, a must-do in Donostia - I always love talking a food tour when visiting a new city, especially one that incorporates the small, local and family-run institutions into the day. Of course when you come to Donostia you must eat pintxos and this tour was absolutely perfect for introducing us to a variety of pintxos, from the classic to the modern, all paired with wines or cider. Our guide, Amaia is local and could give us insights on language, culture, history etc that really helped to put things into context. I think the daytime tour is a great option as it’s not as busy as I assume the nights would be, and it gives you a chance to return later to your favorites. Amaia did a great job accomodating dietary preferences as well. Highly recommended to take this tour early in your trip so you can get recommendations for later. Mahalo!

Devour by Gabriele Pintxos Tour Gold - Don’t try and navigate your way around the old town unless you do this tour fist. There are other companies that do this but you won’t go wrong with Devour. And if you are lucky you will get a tremendous host like Gabriele who knows the best of what is on offer. I got may dates wrong and it was not a problem for them.A San Sebastián must do.

Fabulous pintxos and good company - We tasted what must be the best of Basque pintxos on this tour. The group was small and we were given insight into the history of San Sebastián. Carlos was a terrific guide, knows his food and obviously loves his work. The range of food was carefully curated as were the bars. If you want to taste the range of pintxos on offer in San Sebastián I highly recommend this tour.

Follow Begonia for ultimate Pintxos experience - Begonia was tremendous and very friendly and knowledgeable, notably also on wine . I am a WSET Diploma student and yet learnt a lot - even on the relatively new move to mature wines in Acacia wood barrels. Take this tour for the best guided pintxos excursion in San Sebastián - better than trying to do this on your own amidst the crowds and not necessarily finding the best pintxos bars and cider and wines to go with it.

Gastro of Pinxtos and wine - Fabulous! Wish we would have done this days ago! Every day we go looking for pinxtos and we were kinda doing it…. Our guide, Amaia, showed us how to do it, find the great places (omg the food!), how to eat them, and how to order without the set ones on the shelf! It’s brought such a higher level to what we can order and eat! I can’t wait to use this knowledge while we are here because if we had known it days ago, the food here would’ve been so much more than it already was! Thank you. It was a great tour and she was so energetic, informative, and nice!

Great Experience with Amaia! - Amaia was fabulous. She was very personable. She had a lot of knowledge about the history and wine/food of San Sebastián. We had great discussions about words and language. She gave us confidence for finding our own pintxoaks. Great food and wine. We would recommend her to anyone. 10+++

Amazing experience! - Had an amazing evening around San Sebastián. Carlos was an amazing and friendly guide we had an excellent time with him. We enjoyed delicious local food and meeting some people from other countries. I would 100% recommend To anybody who is visiting the area!
