Pintxos tour in San Sebastien - We booked a Pintxos tour in old San Sebastien with Eskerne Falcon! We also added a history tour of the area prior to our Pintxos tour with her as well. Eskerne met us at our hotel at 5:30pm for the history tour and the Pintxos tour started when the restaurants opened at around 800pm. Both were fantastic! She is an incredible tour guide and a wonderful person! All the Pintxos restaurants knew her very well --we didn't have to push thru the usual Pintxos crowds as Eskerne took care of everything! Her historical knowledge really added great value for our visit to San Sebastien! We will definitively be back and use Eskerne for another Pintxos tour!

History, culinary and a great energy - Eskerne's tour was recommended to us by friends. We took the Walking and Pinxos tour who lasted 4h3o and loved it despite being caught by the rain. Eskerne shared her passion for her city and culture with enthusiasm, knowledge and most importantly fun - a bubbly character. We were blessed to share the experience with a friendly, chatty group an young Irish couple and an American family. After the history tour, we moved to the Pinxos with local drinks ...we ate 8 well selected pinxos in different bars (you can even choose) and we learnt how to pour wine called Chakolin the Basque way - so funny.

Great Pinxtos with passionate and knowledgeable local guide! - Fantastic tour, very knowledgeable local guide who is passionate about the regional cuisine. We visited 5 pinxtos bars, all of which were great - we had house specials which were delicious and really well explained by our guide (plenty of choice to take account of dietary needs and preferences).

Amazing wine and pintxos tour - I just went on this tour with a bunch of friends for a destination wedding and Eskie was the best! It was like she was one of the friends in our group who happened to know EVERYTHING about the area. Every place she picked was perfect. A Grand Evening in San Sebastián! - This food tour is a MUST DO experience when you visit San Sebastián. Oh my goodness! So many amazing flavors! The food at the restaurants we went to really were outstanding. We’d never had anything like these before. Our guide was wonderful in sharing her city and food with us. Again, don’t leave San Sebastián without taking this tour!!!

Great experience! - My wife and I typically do walking tours on the first day of travel to a new location. We like to get immediately immersed and oriented. We’ve likely done 10-plus walking tours in various countries and this was unquestionably our favorite. The uniqueness of the pintxo food/wine experience is a big part of the reason but mainly it was due to the very best - by far - tour guide we’ve ever had. With literally hundreds of pintxos to choose from, it can feel bewildering to select destinations. We wanted a “local” to understand our preferences and guide us to the bars we would love. Eskerne (Esky), our guide, was simply fantastic. She is a true professional who takes great pride in her work. She knows everything! about San Sebastian and the Basque Country (was born/raised there, she worked in the municipal government years ago, is a culinary connoisseur). She is deeply connected on a personal level; as you walk the streets, inevitably every so often someone will know her and say hi. She strives to get to know you too; in particular, your food interests and preferences, so she can customize which pintxos to enjoy. The Foie Gras at Bar Narrika…OMG!!!!….I now dream about it. That was just one of roughly 10 different pintxos dishes we enjoyed. She provided insightful historical perspectives, is an excellent communicator (came to the states to learn English and speaks it very well), provided great information for the remainder of our visit, and overall was just delightful, personable, knowledgeable and professional. I can’t say enough good things about it. She was knowledgeable, fun, excited and enthusiastic about showing us around. - EXCEPTIONAL. FANTASTIC. TOP NOTCH. We met Eske is the Hotel de Londres and immediately she was energetic and excited to show us around. It was our first trip to San Sebastián and she did an amazing job of showing us around. She knew so many people along the way and shared unique insight and info. It was an absolutely amazing tour and I would recommend it 100 times over.
