Wonderful tour, beautiful sights, knowledgeable guide - A very nice trip combining riding in a mini bus, which unfortunately was quite cramped due to the larger stature of the passengers, and a guided walk through some lovely Basque towns on the French side. The lunch was palatable though nothing to write home about and likely could be better. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we were all as comfortable as possible, with plenty of time to ask questions and get a great feel of the villages and combined with some Basque cultural history. The small group was a very nice way to experience these sights!

Ooh la la Trip! - It was really a great tour, especially with the Great Martin Magallanes, who showed us to 2 cities of Frsnce.. It was exciting since I had never been to France!.. And by the way, when we returned from the tour, I forgot my jacket on the bus, and that evening, Martin contacted me and I picked it up the following day.. Thank you!

Excellent guide and company! - We had Imanol for a guide. He was a local guide and was very knowledgeable of the area. We enjoyed the tour and would definitely book tours with this company again in the future. The restaurant we had lunch at had excellent food.

Great tour of France's Basque Country - My wife and I had an excellent private guided tour of France's Basque Country – Biarritz, Bayonne, Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Bidart with Victor. Victor is very knowledgeable guide. He provided us with interesting information about history and culture of France's Basque Country. He went above and beyond and added an additional stop at very lovely town of Bidart. I think some people may even prefer to visit Bidart instead of Saint-Jean-de-Luz to experience true and beautiful nature of France's Basque Country. The entire tour was very relaxed. We highly recommend this tour and Victor as your guide.

Costa Biarritz. - We made the excursion a group of friends and it was a great surprise. We didn't know this area and loved it. The landscapes are very beautiful and the villages charming. 100% recommended to do it. Guide Jon treated us wonderfully and his explanations were very interesting. Must see for San Sebastian and surrounding areas.

Great local tour choice - We went on two tours with this company, Hondarribia, San Juan and San Pedro and the French coast tour to Biarritz, Bayonne, and St. Jean de Luz. Our tour guides, Ana and Imanol were wonderful as guides and were great company to chat with. Highly recommend this company if you’re looking to go on tours of the basque region.

Misleading Description - The tour we took was described as ‘a minibus small group tour’ what we actually got was a coach tour in excess of 20 people. As a result, we spent a lot of time waiting around for various people unable to keep to the timetable with the tour guide then having to do head counts approx every 20 minutes. This over a six hour period was very frustrating & meant there was very little free time left in particular for lunch this would not have occurred with a small group which is what we were under the impression we had paid for - so be warned!

Less than stellar tour guide - We took a multi-lingual tour. The group was about 50% English speaking. Martin said he would speak first in Spanish then English. When we stopped in Bayonne, Martin spoke for 15 minutes in Spanish. We stood there for 15 minutes while he explained to the group in Spanish about Bayonne. I mentioned that we are English speaking and we didn't understand and he then spoke about same subject for about 5 minutes. The entire tour went this way. There were items of interest on the bus rides but Martin never pointed out any as he was busy talking with the bus driver during those times. We have toured using Viator over 25 times in the last few years. This is the first bad review I have ever posted. Bayonne and Biarritz were beautiful. I recommend you seeing it but not with Martin!
