An unforgettable experience - What an outstanding day! Mekal met us at our rental apartment, in Gros, and we set out on an epic hike up and over the mountain - breathtaking inclines, breathtaking views! That might have been our favorite part of the tour, not discounting the water taxi ride, stroll around Pasajes San Juan and drive through the rolling hills - but then we got to Hondarribia and visited a gastronomic society. Such a unique experience and amazing food, wine and cider. The whole day was unforgettable and possibly our favorite of our week in the Basque region. Mekal was a wonderful guide, historian and ambassador - and he was nice enough to give us recommendations for the rest of our visit (we followed all of them and every single one was perfect)
