• Castello di Donnafugata - This grand noble residence dates back to the late 19th century. The castle boasts 122 rooms, though only 28 are open to the public. The lower floors were once home to servants and storage areas.

In the Inspector Montalbano series, Donnafugata Castle is depicted as the residence of the crime boss Balduccio Sinagra.

• Punta Secca - A visit to Scicli, a charming seaside village, is a must. Here, you’ll find the “Casa di Montalbano” near the shore, now converted into a tourist accommodation.

• Centro storico di Scicli - World Heritage Site - We’ll explore the Vigata Police Station, which is actually the Town Hall of the baroque town of Scicli. The police commissioner’s office is, in reality, the mayor’s office. We’ll also visit the Spadaro Palace and stroll through the baroque streets.

• Centro Storico di Ragusa Ibla - Tour Ragusa Ibla, the oldest part of the city, featuring the stunning Piazza del Duomo, seen in many scenes of the Montalbano series. We’ll also visit the Church of San Giorgio, the Church of Santa Maria delle Scale, and enjoy views of the Giardino Ibleo.

• Centro Storico di Modica - Explore Modica, a baroque art gem. Wander among its churches and palaces, visit the Duomo, and stop by the oldest chocolate factory in Sicily to learn about the traditional production of Modica chocolate. A quick lunch is possible.

Your private driver will accompany you throughout the day to let you know all the places where the Inspector Montalbano drama was filmed. Furthermore, it is a tour that includes a fascinating journey between Modica and Scicli: two masterpieces of Sicilian Baroque that are very widespread in eastern Sicily. In particular we will visit the Municipal Palace of Scicli and other archaeological sites of notable importance, Modica with its unmistakable Chocolate and Ragusa Ibla with all its splendor. We will also make a stop in Punta Secca, a splendid seaside village where the “Casa di Montalbano” is located with the possibility of stopping for lunch at the “Enzo a Mare” restaurant to taste some typical fish-based dishes (place frequented by the Commissioner Montalbano). Finally we will visit the Donnafugata Castle, an ancient noble residence chosen to reconstruct the house of the Mafia boss Balduccio Sinagra.
