- Cheolwon Hantangang River Columnar Joint Way - The Cheorwon Hantangang Columnar Joint Path features a walking trail with small bridges connecting the high cliffs. The Hantangang area was designated a UNESCO Global Geopark in July last year. Exploring the columnar joints of the Hantangang River offers a unique blend of outdoor adventure and geological discovery, showcasing one of South Korea’s natural wonders.
- Goseokjeong Flower Field - Located near Goseokjeong Pavilion along the Hantangang River in Cheorwon, Goseokjeong Flower Garden is a beautifully maintained garden with a variety of flowers and plants. It is designed to highlight seasonal blooms and provide a peaceful environment for relaxation and enjoyment.
- Nari Park - Yangju Nari Park offers a tranquil and visually stunning setting with its vast flower fields and well-kept landscapes. A major highlight is the expansive fields of pink muhly grass, which bloom in late summer and autumn, creating a dreamy, cotton candy-like scene perfect for photography.

Designated as a UNESCO site in 2020, the Hantan River area has been recognized for its diverse geological environment and ecosystem. The area was a battleground for the Three Kingdoms’ War, as well as the Korean War.
Located at the northernmost part of Korea in Cheorwon, the Goseokjeong Flower Garden boasts a breathtaking view with a million flowers in bloom. Originally, it was a training ground for the military. The field is now filled with a million flowers, including sunflowers, pink muhly, silvergrass, cypress, gaura, allowing you to capture beautiful photos.
Isn’t it a bit of a shame to visit only one autumn flower festival? Located in Yangju, Pink Nari Park features festivals showcasing pink muhly, roses, poppies, silvergrass, cosmos, globe amaranth, kochia, golden barley and more. In addition to flowers, there are local markets and various cultural events showcasing authentic culture.
