It is centrally located along Beijing’s main axis. The Forbidden City stands as one of the largest and most well-preserved ancient wooden architectural complexes globally.

• Mutianyu Great Wall - This section of the Great Wall is recommended for the “Forbidden City & Great Wall” option. Visitors can also choose to explore the Badaling Great Wall, Juyongguan Great Wall, or Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall based on personal preferences. This journey offers an opportunity to witness the greatest defense works in Chinese history and to hear the tour guide share the stories behind the Great Wall.
• Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - This is the destination for the “Forbidden City & Summer Palace” option. The Summer Palace, a royal garden from the Qing Dynasty, was previously known as the Clear Garden. It was constructed around Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill, inspired by the scenery of West Lake in Hangzhou, and incorporating design techniques and artistic concepts from Jiangnan gardens. It is a vast natural landscape garden, recognized as the most well-preserved royal summer garden and often referred to as the Royal Garden Museum.
• Temple of Heaven - This is the site for the “Forbidden City & Temple of Heaven” option. Originally named “Tian Di Tan,” the Temple of Heaven was where Ming and Qing dynasty emperors offered sacrifices to Heaven and prayed for good harvests and rain. It is the largest existing ancient sacrificial architectural complex in China.
