• Jinshanling Great Wall - 07:30-08:30 Pick-up from your centrally located hotel in Beijing (within 2km of the Nan Luo Gu Xiang metro station) or the designated meeting point. Then, travel directly to the Jinshanling Great Wall, located 136km from central Beijing.

10:15-10:30 Arrive at Jinshanling Great Wall. Begin your hike, covering approximately 3.7 miles (6km).

Your driver will arrange the tickets for you, and you will be free to explore after entering. You will have around 3 hours to enjoy the Great Wall.

Descend from the Great Wall at the “East Five Window Tower” (between April 1 and October 31). Follow the small mountain path for about 20 minutes to exit from the East Gate of Jinshanling. The driver will be waiting for you at the parking lot outside the East Gate.

NOTICE: Between November 1 and March 31, you must enter and exit from the same gate (Middle Gate).

Without paying too much, you’re able to experience the wild and Great Wall at Jingshanling. Far from the tourists and crowds. Moderate hiking 6km from middle gate of Jinshanling to east gate (from 1 April to 31 October).

Unguided self-hiking will enable you to have all the time by yourself. Not obliged to catch up with a big tour group or being forced to enter some shops.
