- Jinshanling Great Wall - Start your journey from “Chaoyangmen” subway station at around 7:00 am. After a 2-hour drive, begin your 2.5-hour hike on the eastern section of the wall at 10:00 am. This hike offers numerous photo opportunities of the surrounding foliage, architecture, and towers. Immerse yourself in the ancient architecture along this 5-kilometer hike. Enjoy the stunning views along the parapets on this less crowded section of the wall, with plenty of space to stop and take in the scenery. The watchtowers, each uniquely shaped, are densely located along this part of the Great Wall, providing something new to explore at every turn. After the hike, have lunch before returning to the “Dongzhimen” subway station in downtown Beijing. From there, you will take the subway back to your hotel on your own. Please note: Hotel pick-up and drop-off are not included.
