whale adventure - We went there for one day trip from Bávaro- to wathing whales and dolphins. And we really watched one four members family od dolphins and than two adults whales with their baby. They jumped from the water three times!!! It was really very big adventure. Than we spent few hours in the small island Cayo Levantado. There were nice beach with a lot of sunbeds.

Impressive & Amazing Adventure- I highly Recommend!! - You need to book this tour! It was such an adventurous and fun way to see other parts of the Dominican Republic. Everything was amazing from the whale watching to swimming in the cascading waterfall! I highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a unique adventure in the stunning landscapes of Samana. As someone who travels for a living, I have been on countless tours and this one by far has to be in my top 3. I was highly impressed. This tour exceeded my expectations in every aspect, and I cannot recommend it enough. The team's commitment to providing a top-notch experience was evident throughout. From the comfortable transportation to the engaging guides and delicious meals, every element of the tour was well-thought-out. The tour offered picturesque views of different parts of the Dominican Republic that you just do not get to see in Punta Cana. This tour is a must for anyone visiting Punta Cana! I came on this tour solo, but I ended up making a great group of friends on the tour as well which was just the cherry on top! A big thank you to Jack Cana Tours for creating such a fantastic and well-rounded experience for my last full day here in the Dominican Republic!

If you are planning to... - If you are planning to book this tour, you should know!!! 1. There is horseback riding to the waterfalls and the guide charged us an additional 60USD per person. One couple said they couldn’t afford it and the tour guide was pressuring him to call his bank to get the money. 2. The trail is extremely rough and long. I wouldn’t consider it walkable in the amount of time you spend visiting the Lima waterfalls if you didn’t want to go on horse. 3. The hike down to the waterfalls is also extremely steep. Older people on our tour were not able to go down. 4. The time spent whale watching and time spent at the beach was brief. 5. We had to pay 1USD to use the washroom at the marina. 6. There is NO breakfast. We got a cookie and juice box. 7. The pick up was late and very disorganized. We waited in the lobby then were told after nearly an hour of waiting the pick up is at the resort gate. 8. The tour was beautiful but I would consider another tour company.

Underwhelming on expectations - The pickup time wasn’t accurate and we had to walk to the front gate. Breakfast consisted of a bag of crackers and a juice box. I think they booked too many people because there weren’t enough seats. The boat ride was crazy but good and they found a whale and did everything they could to get some good pictures. The safari ride didn’t have enough seats so some people had to stand but it was a fun drive. The horseback riding was ok, typical for a tour but then someone had an issue with the horses and his shoes supposedly got stolen so we waited about an hour to leave. Lunch was pretty good but everyone was starving and they ran out of food. Drinks consisted of coke and rum and a bottle of water if you were lucky. Our driver was nice but spoke very little English and was pretty quiet the entire time. It was fun but definitely overpriced compared to the others. I thought it would be more personal and supportive with the amount we paid but it felt like the treatment was for the cheapest fair. All the workers (horse, tour guides, boat guides, photographers) all claimed the company didn’t pay them so they all wanted money and they are pretty good at adding pressure and making you feel guilty. I feel with the price I paid ($20/person) I shouldn’t have been asked for so much more money. I’ve taken a lot of tours and this was fun but not worth the price with this group.
