Great cooking class experience in Umbrian/Tuscan area. - Fun cooking class in a beautiful setting in the Umbrian hills. We made several different types of pasta which were made into a traditional lasagna, zucchini lasagne with béchamel sauce, tagliatelle with a red meat sauce, and ravioli with a light sauce. We also made a summer strawberry tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Included was a lesson & tasting of EVOO & a tour of their extra virgin olive oil operations. Alina was very welcoming and informative.

Best Tuscan experience - Everyone in our large group of 9 said this was the best cooking class they had ever taken. It was such a fun hands on experience and Alina was a perfect host. She was so good at helping us and explaining everything clearly. Do yourself a favor and make this part of your trip to the Siena!

5-star cooking course - Super cozy and authentic cooking course in fantastic surroundings. We were 4 people going together, and on the whole team participated another 6 others from all over the world. There was good atmosphere and a lot of nice talk throughout the day. It was served delicious wine and olive oil and we were guided well through all processes. Great Recommendation

I’d do it again! Worth it! - There were 6 of us at the cooking class, which included 2 children, aged 8 and 5. First of all, it was such a wonderful kitchen. Rustic and lived in with marble tables, perfect for rolling dough. Alina, the hostess and chef, spent some time sharing her history and the history of the location, the olive oil and Italian cooking. We then proceeded to make pasta using only the finest organic flour, semolina, olive oil and eggs. The children had a great time working with us. We made linguine, ravioli, and pince. Alina showed us how to shape the pasta and cut it. She showed us how to make the wonderful sauces and filling. We then had a beautiful lunch of linguine with a ragu of ground beef, sausage and tomatoes, ravioli with sautéed zucchini and pince with a cherry tomato sauce. I have to say that this may have been the best meal we’ve had so far in Italy. We also made a version of tiramisu for dessert. Alina shared espresso with us, limoncello and amaretto. We had plenty of left overs to take with us. The grounds are lovely and the ride through the countryside is breathtaking. All 6 of us had a wonderful time and highly recommend the class to everyone.

Best cooking class that I've experienced - What a tremendous pleasure this cooking class and lunch was! There are many reasons why this was one of the top highlights of our trip to Italy. The day is extremely well designed and organized, the food is scrumptious (indeed one of the best pasta dishes of my life), the amount of work in the kitchen is just right, and Alina and Joanna, the leaders/instructors, are absolutely a delight! Alina and Joanna go to a lot of work to prepare for the day. They ensure that your cooking lesson experience and your dining experience are action packed, fulfilling, and memorable. They truly earn their stratospheric ratings (5 out of 5) by all who attend. Also, the setting is so charming, both the Borgo and the countryside. I can't say enough about this day. Don't miss it!

Cooking Class at an Olive Farm - The original class was canceled due to COVID, so we were sent to her mother’s olive farm in Umbria for the cooking class. It was great, although it was a longer drive and required a walk of almost a mile due to a closed road. The pastas and tiramisu were excellent; we could have been more involved in the preparation of the sauces. All in all, a great experience.

Incredible location - Incredible setting in an old farmhouse. We loved learning how to make 3 different pastas and then eating them which was delicious! I wish we could have been more involved in making the sauces which we watched her do (and which she explained) but didn’t get to do ourselves. Loved that she used all fresh ingredients. The inclusion of wine tasting in the description was also misleading - we did have a local wine with lunch, but just one, no choice, and no discussion; we had specifically chosen this class because it included both cooking and wine tasting, so that was disappointing. We still had a great time, but I don’t feel the experience was as described in the overview. I think if the group size was a little smaller it might work better. A little difficult to find the location, but they are aware and were proactive about helping everyone find their way.
