Highlights
  • Wachirathan Falls - Our first stop is one of the largest and the most beautiful waterfalls in the country, the Wachirathan Waterfall. Over 80 meters high, the power of this waterfall creates a refreshing mist that feeds the surrounding vegetation – giving you the most invigorating facial of your life!
  • Sirithan Waterfall - Then we’ll head to the amazing Sirithan Waterfall. This stunning 50-meter cascade, fed by the Mae Klan River from Doi Inthanon’s peak, is perfectly hidden deep in the pine forest. Follow one of the many paths around the impressive and powerful body of water; enjoy the cool spray as you pursue closer views, maybe even a rainbow!
  • Doi Inthanon - Next we’ll stop at the famous twin pagodas: the Napamatanee Don and Napaphon Bhumisiri. Built for the Royal King and Queen, they are located at the highest point in Thailand, enriched with beautiful flower gardens and Alpen Roses. After visiting the royal stupas, we’ll stop by a restaurant to refuel for lunch.
  • Thailand Mountain Trail - After lunch, we’ll burn off all that pad thai with a bit of “mini-hiking” at the Angka Nature Trail. The trail is a 360m platform walkway taking you through the mossy rocks of the cloud forest.

We’ll then visit a Karen Tribe locale where we will learn a bit about the tribes people’s culture and way of life, as we explore their village of Sobhad. We will finish the day by mingling with the people of the Hmong Tribe in the upland market, browsing its wealth of fine textiles, exotic foods, and local handicrafts

Perfect Day Exploring! - Amazing day on our private tour with Nick and Tye. Nick had so much insight into the local wildlife and plant species during the day and shared so much local knowledge. He was fantastic with my 2 children and they loved hanging out with him. The whole day was perfect and I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking. Worth the money! 5 stars to Nick!

Amazing day at Doi Inthanon - Boon was a wonderful guide, taking us to the highest peak in Thailand, two waterfalls, beautiful monuments, a local village for lunch - and always providing history, context and details. We loved it! The only issues are with Viator... booking was not easy (so many back and forth messages) and they neglected to tell us it is COLD on top of the mountain - only time we needed a jacket and pants in Thailand

Excellent day - Beautiful views, great history. Waterfalls were roaring. Got to see a lot of rural countryside going and returning. Tee (the guide) did a excellent job imparting the history of the area and the people.

Doi Inthanon Adventure - TripGuru was responsive and the guide picked us up at the hotel on time. He was polite and personable. TripGuru is 5 stars. The drive was not too bad, I dread long drive but we reached the larger waterfall a little over an hour from old town. Then proceeded to Doi Inthanon. It’s a good trip but it is not spectacular, that’s why I gave 4 stars. There isn’t much besides the twin pagodas and garden. And nothing too special inside the pagodas. I suggest having lunch at the restaurant at one of the Royal Projects. Food, view and prices are great and it has a beautiful garden with green house, ponds, swans, etc. We skipped the smaller waterfall and made it back by 5 pm before heavy commuting traffic.
