Recognized by UNESCO as a natural reserve with its own ecosystem, it is one of the few places globally where the sea penetrates deep into the desert. This serene water body is only accessible by traversing the rolling dunes, as it is not reachable by road. UNESCO describes Khor Al Adaid as “a remarkable landscape” with “world-class scenic beauty.” The area hosts a unique array of fauna, including several internationally rare and/or threatened species, such as turtles. Khor Al Adaid also supports populations of certain bird species of national and regional significance, including long-distance migrant waterfowl during winter. Visitors might also spot ospreys nesting on islets and Arabian gazelles.

I recommend x100 - Amazing experience with Sabzali, what a guide, he literally amazed us with the dune bashing during the sunset, we also did sun boarding and swimmed in the beach next to the desert. If you come to Qatar you should definitely book that fun excursion.

Desert Safari with Abdul Rehman - Had an amazing desert safari experience with Abdul Rehman. The ride through the desert on the sand Dunes was exhilarating. My daughter really enjoyed the camel ride, holding the Falcon and surfing down the sand dune.

120 - Abdul Rehman was our guide for desert safari. It was amazing trip. We made an unforgettable memories riding a camel and dune dashing and riding quad bikes in the Qatar desert and along gulf beach with amazing views. Recommend the to do the trip for those who kile similar activities

Desert safari with Sabzali - Our desert safari with Sabzali was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! He was friendly, professional, and made sure everyone in the group was comfortable and having fun throughout the trip. His driving skills during the dune bashing were incredible - thrilling but always felt completely safe.
Sabzali was also really knowledgeable about the desert and local culture, sharing interesting facts along the way and helping us capture some stunning photos at sunset. The whole experience was so well organised and full of great memories.
If you’re planning a desert safari, I can’t recommend Sabzali enough. He truly made the adventure special! 🌅🐫

Excellent half day tour - Fun & thrill packed tour with great guide Asim in the Arabian Desert today. The dune bashing was incredible and hair raising ! I was pretty useless at sand boarding though, it’s an age thing! Not to be missed if you visit Qatar.

Pure adrenaline! - We had booked a 4 hour tour with Asim through the desert! We can recommend it to anyone who wants a mix of adrenaline and nature. The dune bashing was just cool and we felt very safe with Asim.

Very fun! - The desert safari was an unforgettable experience with stunning views and exciting activities. Although Asim arrived an hour late, he kindly compensated us with a free camel ride, which made the wait worthwhile. He was friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall enjoyment of the trip. I would definitely recommend this adventure to anyone visiting Qatar
