Recognized by UNESCO as a natural reserve with its own ecosystem, it is one of the few places globally where the sea penetrates deep into the desert. This serene water body is only accessible by traversing the rolling dunes, as it is not reachable by road. UNESCO describes Khor Al Adaid as “a remarkable landscape” with “world-class scenic beauty.” The area hosts a unique array of fauna, including several internationally rare and/or threatened species, such as turtles. Khor Al Adaid also supports populations of certain bird species of national and regional significance, including long-distance migrant waterfowl during winter. Visitors might also spot ospreys nesting on islets and Arabian gazelles.

Best tour ever - Asim was more than amazing, he was very nice told us everything that was going to happen step by step, took us to the most beautiful spots in the desert got to see a beautiful sunset view. Would definitely do it again 🫶🏻

Highlight of my weekend in Doha - I travelled alone but felt right at home #newfriends
Highlights for me:
The guide was an excellent driver. Got the car on some serious angles (and given the places we put our 4WDs, that’s saying something). Smooth though, not rough. He read the room, had a great soundtrack, and was a good conversationalist with solid English. Knew loads about the desert and plenty else besides.
The falcon, he’s 5, and the handler has had him since he was a chick. Pretty special to see up close.
Chai tea, amongst the best I’ve ever had.
Sunset shots 🌅 at the beach were spot on. I didn’t swim, but did dip my toes into the warmest sea water I’ve ever felt.
My tips:
Book direct!
If you’re visiting in summer (or close enough), leave the city around 3pm. By the time you hit the dunes it’s cooler, and you end up at the beach just in time for a perfect sunset.
Shazam the playlist, share with the car and relive the experience 🎧
Don’t skip the sand boarding.
Would definitely book again. Maybe next time I’ll get to drive, hahaha.

Desert safari - A fantastic day and tour. First time being in Qatar and this desert safari was well worth the money. We had Asim as our tour guide and he was fantastic showing us the desert. Well worth the money for any family looking for a great day.

Thrilling! - We had an amazing desert safari experience in Doha! The trip was well-organized, exciting, and offered stunning views of the dunes. Our tour guide, Asim, was extremely nice, professional, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Doha!

Best experience ever - Asim was amazing, we landed late but he grabed us on the AirPort. The experience was beautiful with the ATV and Sand boarding too. The Carride in the dessert was the best even for me who is afraid of these kind of experinces. Overall the best 100% recommend it.
