Lovely Introduction to Beautiful Pananma - We enjoyed every minute of this experience! Our guide, Didier was knowledgeable and friendly. The people of Embera were welcoming and we so appreciate them sharing their culture with us. The trek to the waterfall was fun and our guides helped us when we struggled. Bring water shoes! A lovely introduction to beautiful Panama.

Wonderful experience - We had such a wonderful time with our guide on this trip! It was a once in a lifetime experience and our guide made it even more special. We will be talking about the waterfall and the tribe for years to come! I would HIGHLY suggest Dramamine for the car ride to and from the forest if you tend to get motion sickness, but it’s totally worth it in the end. My family and I had a wonderful time!

Lovely people, beautiful setting, delicious food - The Emberá people are very warm & welcoming, and their village environment is simply beautiful. The food they prepared was delicious as was the abundance of fresh fruit of all different varieties. And, our guide (Diener) was a wonderful host! The Emberá also create & sell beautiful hand-crafted bowls, jewelry & carvings so make sure to take extra cash because credit cards don’t work out in the jungle (I regret not taking more so we could’ve brought home some of their gorgeous products).

A Wonderful Day Trip - It all started with getting picked up at our hotel, which we loved. That is a big plus when you don't know your way around. The boat ride is fun and then you stop at a beautiful waterfall. We chose not to get in, but some did. You do have to be pretty steady on your feet to get to the waterfall. The visit to the tribe was very cool. They feed you a small meal and then put on a show. The kids dancing made our day. You can walk around to see how they live or they have booths set up to sell things they have made. I highly recommend this trip, just be careful walking at the waterfall.

Taking the boats up the... - Taking the boats up the Chagres was a lot of fun. Mono Falls was a nice touch. Got to swim underneath. Short hike and they were super helpful assisting you over large rocks. The Embera Village was nice. The best pineapple I’ve ever had. The history and culture was nice to learn about. Glad we got to experience this.

All ok except for the transportation - It was not such a great experience. The van that came to pick us up was in very bad shape. It was very old, and every time the driver used the brakes, we would always jerk. I almost hurt myself sitting in the back seat, as the back seat was broken. Also, the front passengers weren't using seatbelts on the highway which I felt was very unsafe.
