A memorable day - Fabulous tour with Justin who was extremely knowledgeable, professional, helpful and friendly. He explained the history of his country and the significance of the buildings we visited and also the aspirations for the future of his country. He also helped us to cross the roads safely! Wonderful thank you.

HCMC Walking Tour - I had a one on one tour with Kevin the guide. Kevin was knowledgeable and also listened to my questions and comments and provided keen on the War Remnants Museum, the Norte Dame Cathedral, and the Post Office. I highly recommend this tour to anyone and you will be lucky if Kevin is your guide.

Great experience - Kevin did a great job teaching us about Ho Cho Minh’s past, present and future, and I really learned a lot! It was the perfect start to my time in the city.

If you’re looking for a great walking tour in Vietnam, look no further. - I would highly recommend this walking tour. Kevin the tour guide was a wealth of information and also made the tour super fun. From start to finish he was professional and polite. He spoke about sensitive topics regarding the Vietnamese war with such compassion and respect. He allowed time for us to explore the points by ourselves and answered any questions we had. He didn’t rush us if we wanted to spend more time at certain locations and even thought us some Vietnamese words. If you’re looking for a walking tour in Vietnam, look no further.

Ho Chi Minh Tour - Kevin was very accommodating when we let him know we’d be a little late because of traffic. He was also able to juggle things so we could get back to our bus in time for transportation back to our ship.
That said, a couple of things were disappointing. One of the main items on the tour, the cathedral, was completely covered in scaffolding and closed for renovation. We wish another venue could have been substituted.
Kevin was very eager for us to see the War Remnants Museum. Although we booked the tour knowing this was included, we would have preferred to have a shorter time there with less emphasis on the horrors of war and less “lecturing” that felt to us like propaganda. We lived through the Vietnam War; Kevin did not. We know it was an awful time for his country and for ours. We would have preferred to experience the new, energized and engaged Vietnam, rather than its past.
We enjoyed the end of the tour on the Book Street with a stop at a coffee shop and would have loved to spend more time exploring that street and other interesting neighborhoods of Ho Chi Minh City.

Not the best - Bit of a disappointment for the money we paid. I don’t feel like we saw as much as we could of. We were left to explore the war remnants museum on our own, shown the palace from outside the gates. The post office which is free and the Notre Dame, which is under restoration for a few more years.

Could have done this tour by myself. - One of the ways I evaluate guided tours was how well I could have done it by myself. For this tour, I feel like I could have gotten most of the same experience if I did it myself and read the summary of each place we stopped from Wikipedia. We were to the War Remnants museum and were told we could go inside at our own place because all exhibits were in English. It is a big museum and it would have helped to have the guide show us the highlights. Other places we stopped were primarily facts recited about what we were seeing. We did have coffee at the end and had a good discussion of what it was like to live in Vietnam. This was the best part of the tour.
