See Saigon with the best walking tour - Unusual, quirky and lots of fun - This was an excellent walking tour to see some of the less touristy sites of Saigon. Our tour guides, Danny and Ken, were great fun and really informative. Lots of stops to sample local coffee, medicinal tea, wine and treats all covered in the tour price. While the VC command bunker tour is a highlight, just chatting with a local while walking around and learning so much more about the culture was memorable. Well worth it!

Exceptionnel - This tour was one of the best things you do in Ho chi Min! We were able to discover great places, and especially places we would never have been without the tour. We had the privilege of having 2 guides during the tour, which allowed us to have great explanations and especially answers to each of our questions.
It’s a tour of several hours, but we don’t see them pass!
I recommend 100% this activity ❤️

Great tour - The tour was incredibly interesting. You could get to know other corners of Ho Chi Minh and our tour guide told Hoang and so much about Vietnamese history. Only me and two other people were on the tour. There were a lot of stops to have a drink and go to the bathroom and discovered cafes in backyards that I would never have known otherwise. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Super designed 👌🏻

Just wonderful! - This is a great experience and we could not recommend it highly enough. We were a bit lucky being the only two people booked on the trip. We stared in district one. Our guide spoke amazing English and was very knowledgeable about the city. He carried a bag with a folder containing images to help us understand more of the history and geography. He took us through the backstreets of district 4 through the markets and some hidden coffee shops for local coffee. When it started raining we stopped and bought us ponchos. We took a cab to district 5 (all in the price) and showed us china town and the way the ‘boat people’ live. Then the temples, more tea and some rice wine in a Chinese medicine shop. On to district 3 and many more sights before ending up back in district on at a spy house. We did the tour the first morning we arrive to help us get accustomed and a bit of a sense of the city. It was just perfect. Please do this tour and look at the video on youtube. Run by just 2 guys. An absolute must.

Just do it - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with our guide Danny. Echoing the comments of others who have submitted reviews, this is an excellent introduction to Ho Chi Minh city and Vietnam. A unique experience not to be missed!!

Loved this tour! - We had a fantastic half-day adventure with Danny (Dang) exploring Districts 3, 4 and 5. I loved visiting all the markets where the locals shop and then exploring the maze of alleyways surrounding them, where they live. We tried all sorts of yummy street food - almond pannacotta jelly, monk fruit tea, grilled banana with pandan leaves, tapioca pearls and coconut milk - and then there was the banana alcohol! The meaning behind the architecture and symbolism of artefacts etc… was all explained. Things that would have been lost to us if we had toured ourselves. And we would never have found many of the spots we were shown. The monument to the burning monk was interesting and sobering. And the visit to the communist hideout with its secret passages and concealed entrances was great. We also loved the little coffee shop, tucked away in one of the alleyways. And the aromatic scents of the drying spices and herbs in Chinatown. There were many other points of interest too. Danny was friendly and knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the morning with. This tour is 10/10 and a must-do if you are in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh!

Educational, Insightful, Delightful - We love joining walking tours in our travels and what makes it a worthwhile experience is the knowledge of the tour guide about his or her subject based on the depth of his/ her narrative; readiness to respond to unexpected comments and questions ; the attitude to engage genuinely with us, walkers, and sensitivity to our own views, and always checking physical capacity and flexibility to adjust the prepared itinerary and most of all having that sense of self deprecating humour . Our private group rate this walking tour as excellent or 5 *. Hoang , our tour guide, surpassed our expectations in all these criteria. He does not impose and was not rushing us. He knows the subject very well - i.e. the 4 districts we covered, the neighborhood and its nooks and corners. And was so much fun to be with. We extended our time because we were either sharing our own Insights or asking too many questions. Be ready for a long walk ( tiring for an asthmatic 70+ walkers ) ; spartan lunch at the restaurant of the "spy house" but we were not complaining.

An underrated HCMC walking tour - Have been to most of the HCMC attractions previously. This is one of the most interesting tours one should take if you want an educative and witness the non touristy local streets , markets , see how people go about their daily life and history . Highly recommend the quality of the tour and the tour guide is very engaging

Pros:RDV bitexco tour very easy to find, good overview of 3 areas of the city.surprise end of visit in May - Cons: too fast pace explanations given at the beginning of the column by the guide to those in front. I did not appreciate as a Frenchwoman some non-neutral comments on opium introduced by the French during the war and the non-neutrality of the guide.
