Kids Love It! - We chosen this for kids' exposure to local culture. The rich and interesting combination are just perfect. Starting with very attentive cyclo cyclists, riding us through the morning city traffic, showing us several key landmarks along the 30 min rides, even stopping in front of the palace and church for photos (not all cyclo do that). They asked for tips at the end of the ride (which I was told by the guide that it has been covered) but it's worth it, especially considering their age and effort. Next, the market visit is short and sweet. For those who does not eat live seafood, please inform the guide at the start of the visit to avoid him buying any live prawns. The walk from the market to Chef Vu cooking place is about 10 mins. The whole cooking session is long but quite fast pace, which is just nice to cover all the menu. They are very attentive to kids, ensuring their safety and even offer to take video and photo. So parents can still do our own cooking peacefully. The egg yolk coffee is a perfect ending for the session. My kid gave 10/10 rating to the session, he said he loves everything!

It was an amazing experience! - We went around town in Cyclo and then joined a cooking class. The cyclo was relaxing and comfortable to feel the wind. Chef Vu was very easy to talk to and taught me how to cook. I was able to cook with peace of mind because I had a very strong sense of hygiene. The finished dish was too good to believe I made it! I got the recipe when I finished, so I'll make it at home again. Thank you very much.

Fun and enjoyable food experience - A very enjoyable experience. Picked up by cyclo bike first off and had a short tour of the town. Didn't expect the tour as we thought we were heading straight to market to meet others in the class. So a good surprise. Food buying at market was interesting with guide and then off to cook with Chef Vu. He explained the meals, ingredients, style, flavours very well and then showed us how to prepare and cook our meals. Food was yummy, Chef Vu was great, food filling and then we finished off with an and egg coffee. Fun and enjoyable.

Chef Vu for the win - Excellent service. Loved the cyclo ride with the driver pointing out the local landmarks along the way. Our guide around the market was very informative and explained all the processes to us. Chef Vu was excellent and it was great having a smaller group. Every one got to do everything and cooked all our own food so we could accommodate our own tastes. Would highly recommend this course. Didn’t receive the email with the recipes though.

Delicious and fun! - This was such a fun cooking class and came away with some new knife skills for decoration too! We enjoyed exploring the Benh Tang market and seeing all the fresh produce beforehand. Mr Vu was a very fun, precise and step by step teacher so we left feeling like we could remember these delicious new recipes and techniques - they will email the recipes to you so we won’t forget them too! We enjoyed eating each dish piping hot after we made it: spring rolls, morning glory, lemongrass chicken and crispy pancakes. Highly recommend this if you are looking for a morning cooking class in Saigon!

Great insight into Vietnamese cuisine from start to finish - This is a great experience if you want to learn more about Vietnamese cooking. The cyclo trip is also super fun (remember to bring a tip for the driver). Chef Vu is very knowledgeable and helpful. We did this with our three boys and they all loved it too. Highly recommend.

Fun, easy cooking - Chef Vu and staff were very friendly and the dishes were easy to make. Everything was basically prepped for us and all we had to do was to put it together. It was less hands-on than other travel cooking classes than I've done, but great for kids and learning about Vietnamese foods. We did have an excellent time with the other family in the class. Catching a ride on the Cyclo was a fun experience to slowly see the city center.
