Ho Chi Minh City - Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be greeted by Luco Travel’s tour guide and driver, who will transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy some free time to relax.
Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theater - At 18:00, you will be picked up from your hotel by a “Xich Lo” and taken on a one-hour tour around Ho Chi Minh City Center at night, ending at the Water Puppet Show.
We will watch the Water Puppet Show, which features traditional performances depicting the daily life of Vietnamese farmers (such as cultivating, tending buffalo, and catching fish), communal entertainment (like swimming contests and dragon dancing), and historical legends (such as Le Loi returning the precious sword). This art form has captivated audiences for centuries.
Enjoy dinner and return to the hotel.
CU CHI TUNNELS & STREET FOOD TOUR (B/L/D)
Cu Chi Tunnels - In the morning, our driver will pick you up from your hotel to depart for the Cu Chi Tunnels, a journey of about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, explore the extensive network of over 250km of tunnels used by the Viet Cong during the War, now a popular tourist destination. These tunnels once served as underground cities with trap doors, living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens. Visitors can watch a short introductory video on the tunnel construction before exploring them. You can also try manioc, the main food for guerrilla fighters in Cu Chi during the war.
Ho Chi Minh City - Return to Ho Chi Minh City at 14:30 after lunch and relax.
At 18:00, our tour guide will meet you at the hotel to provide safety instructions for riding on the back of a bike. Experience the rush hour of Saigon from the back of a bike, riding through beautifully lit boulevards, back alleys, and busy streets.
First, enjoy Vietnamese pancakes (Bánh xèo) and spring rolls while learning about the customs and background of the food from our guide. You will also have the chance to make them yourself. Sit on small plastic chairs in the alleys, enjoying food and drink like a local.
